OCC Sketch Challenge, Sugar Nellie GDT, Amy Sumrall CT

This is my entry for this weeks OCC sketch challenge. I loved the sketch and so I had to participate...
I used one more of my new beloved Leanne Ellis stamps (Sugar Nellie). I'm so in awe with the new -bit more artsy- images designed by Leanne! And I used some papers and one element from Amy Sumralls digi kits! I SO love her kits and I'm totally proud to have been chosen by Amy to be on her Creative Team *woohooo* - THANKS Amy :)

Hier ist mein Beitrag für die Sketch Challenge bei OCC diese Woche. Ich finde den Sketch super schön und so musste ich einfach teilnehmen...
Ich habe einen meiner neuen, heissgeliebten Stempel von Leanne Ellis (Sugar Nellie) benutzt. Ich bin total verliebt in diese neuen -ein bisschen mehr 'artsy' angehauchten- Motive die Leanne designed hat! Und ich habe ein paar Papiere und ein Element von Amy Sumralls Digi Kits benutzt! Bag Toppers :)

I made two bags (bag toppers) for someone having a sweet tooth ;)
The first one (on the photo below) was my 'prototype' and I have made it using Crate Paper dp, two paper flowers from Poppicrafts and QuicKutz stamps. The second one (photo above) is made using the beautiful digital papers and elements from Amy Sumrall. The digi kit the elements/papers are from, is to be called 'Wubulous'. The sentiment stamp is from the new Whiff of Joy summer stamp kit.

Ich habe mal zwei Beutelchen (bzw. die Verschlüsse dafür) für Naschkatzen gemacht ;)

EAC DT // Sugar Nellie Guest DT

Tuesday morning - time for another challenge over at Everybody Art Challenge :) This week we want you to show us cards or projects using a 3d image. I used one of my newly arrived Leanne Ellis stamps and cut out the 1) the image 2) the face with hair and hat 3) the hat. Then coloured all cut outs and mounted with foam tape. What you can't see on the pic is the subtle shimmer on the metal frame and on her hair.. but well... just use your imagination ;-)

Dienstag Morgen - Zeit für eine neue Herausforderung bei Everybody Art Challenge :) Diese Woche möchten wir das Ihr uns Karten oder Projekte mit 3D Motiven zeigt. Ich habe hier einen meiner neu eingetroffenen Leanne Ellis Stempel benutzt und folgendes ausgeschnitten: 1) das ganze Motiv an sich 2) das Gesicht mit Haaren und Hut 3) nur den Hut. Dann habe ich alle Teile coloriert und mit 3D Pads übereinander montiert. Was man leider auf dem Bild hier nicht sehen kann ist der leichte Schimmer auf dem Metall Rahmen und auf ihrem Haar.. aber naja.. müsst Ihr einfach Eure Fantasie spielen lassen ;-)

Doodle Palace DT and DY2DS (one for the boys)

Doodle Palace DT - ScrapOnline

Yesterday was premiere day... I managed to take part in my first Scrap Online night... oooooh.. what fun!!! Thanks Karin, you did a great job!!! If you missed the live event on Paper Craft Planet, you always can find the sketch and a challenge for the next week on the SOL challenge blog. I could not resist to use 'Dillan the Dragon' again.. I really love this little 'munster'.. he's so cute :) Design papers are again from Amy Sumrall. Seems as if I have a weekness for fresh and bold summer colours at the moment *lol*

Gestern war Premierentag.. ich habe es geschafft an meinem ersten Scrap Online abend teilzunehmen... ohhhhh... das hat riesigen Spass gemacht!!! Vielen Dank Karin, Du hast das echt super gemacht!!! Und falls jemand das Live Event auf Paper Craft Planet verpasst hat, kann man für die nächste Woche dann immer den aktuellen Sketch auf dem SOL Challenge Blog nachschauen und nachbasteln. Ich konnte einfach nicht widerstehen und habe 'Dillan den Drachen' noch einmal benutzt.. ich liebe dieses kleine 'Monster'... der ist so niedlich :) Papiere sind auch hier wieder von Amy Sumrall. Ich hab' im Moment irgendwie einen Faible für frische und kräftige Sommerfarben, wie es scheint *lach*

Dillan The Dragon - Doodle Palace DT (and Digital Tuesday)

This cute little dragon called Dillan is a recently released stamp by Doodle Palace! I so adore this little guy.. he reminds me so much of my little sons... they cannot ever get enough, too *lol*
I used my tombow markers to colour him and some stickles to create the icing on top of the cake (and on his mouth) .. hope you can see this on the photos...
And as I used a tag for the sentiment (it's from the german sentiment set from Whiff of Joy and is 'hip hip hooray' in english) this is my entry for 'Digital Tuesday' (this weeks theme is 'Tag You're It') :)

Dieser niedliche kleine Drache namens Dillan ist einer der kürzlich erschienenen Stempel von Doodle Palace! Ich finde den kleinen Kerl einfach zum Anbeissen.. er erinnert mich sooo sehr an meine beiden kleinen Jungs.. die können auch nie genug bekommen *lol*
Ich habe meine Tombows zum Colorieren benutzt und zusätzlich noch etwa Stickles um den Zuckerguss auf der Torte (und um seinen Mund herum) zu machen.. ich hoffe man kann das auf den Fotos erkennen...
Und da ich ein Tag für das Sprüchlein benutzt habe (ein Stempel von Whiff of Joy) ist es mein Beitrag für 'Digital Tuesday' (diese Woche ist das Thema nämlich 'Tag You're It') :)

Cookie Bear - Scrap Online Challenge #1

I was in need of a birthday card for a little six year old girl where my son Aaron is invited and thought this cutie is just perfect for a children birthday card (well.. Aaron LOVES it! *lol* - and I love the fresh colors of these gorgeous digital papers from Amy Sumrall! The kit is called 'fun wow!' and I think this is really the perfect name for it :) ) For the layout I used the gorgeous sketch from challenge #1 at Scrap Online Challenges' (I hope I will manage to participate next week 'live'!)

Hier ist wieder ein kleiner Vorgeschmack auf einen der niedlichen Stempel von Doodle Palace (er wird bald erhältlich sein also ab und an mal dort vorbei schauen um es nicht zu verpassen :) )
Ich brauchte eine Geburtstagskarte für ein sechs Jahre altes Mädchen bei dem mein Sohn Aaron eingeladen ist und dachte mir dieser niedliche kleine Kerl (der Bär) ist doch eigentlich perfekt für eine Kinder-Geburtstagskarte (naja.. zumindest Aaron ist ganz verliebt in sie *lach* - und ich selbst liebe die frischen Farben dieser wundervollen digitalen Papiere von Amy Sumrall! Doodle Palace DT: Elephants (CCT 60)

I played with this gorgeous and sooo cute digi stamp 'Eli and Emily the Elephants' from Doodle Palace :) Isn't this image lovely? I put a bit of bling on it by using my Sakura Stardust gel pen applying it with a waterbrush.. but I think you cannot see it properly on the photo.. I did a little faux stitching as a little bit extra. But did not want to have too much bits and bobs around because I love the image so much.. thought it is beautiful by it's own :-)

I just noticed that Cute Card Thursday is looking for 'letters and numbers' this week! So I think this fits for their challenge :-)

Ich habe mit diesem wunderschönen und soooo herzigen Digi Stempel 'Eli and Emily the Elephants' von Doodle Palace rumgespielt :) Ist dieses Motiv nicht herzallerliebst? Ich habe ein bisschen Glitzer aufgetragen, indem ich meinen Sakura Stardust Gel Stift mit einem Wassertankpinsel aufgetragen habe.. aber ich denke man kann das nicht so richtig auf dem Foto erkennen.. Ich habe ausserdem noch ein bisschen 'falsches Nähen' für den Hintergrund benutzt um noch ein kleines "Extra" zu haben. Aber ich wollte nicht allzuviel Schnickschnack drum herum haben weil ich dieses Motiv an sich so schön finde.. dachte es wirkt einfach durch sich selbst :-)

Ich habe außerdem gesehen, das Cute Card Thursday diese Woche nach 'Zahlen und Buchstaben' diese Woche fragen! Also passt diese Karte doch gut auch zu dieser Herausforderung :-)

Sketches!{by tamara} #95 - Wishing You a Perfect Day

A new -great- sketch from Tamara at Sketches!{by tamara} this week :-) And don't forget to check out the other DT creations, too.. they are awesome!!!
To create the flower I covered a chipboard flower with gesso (let dry), then covered it with a green pigment ink pad (let dry), stamped a dotted background with Versamark and embossed it with a pink embossing powder. I then created a 'stem' using green ribbon, adhering it with staples. Hope you like my little 'experiment' with this flower :-)
(yeah.. and I made the Basic Grey Idea Gallery again with this card :-) )

Ein neuer -toller- Sketch von Tamara diese Woche auf Sketches!{by tamara} :-) Und vergesst nicht auch die Kreationen des restlichen DT anzuschauen .. die sind allesamt wunderschön!!!
Für die Blume habe ich eine Chipboard Blüte mit Gesso bepinselt (trocknen lassen), dann mit einem grünen Pigment Stempelkissen betupft (trocknen lassen) Und zum Schluss noch einen gepunkteten Hintergrund mit Versamark aufgestempelt und mit pinkfarbenem Embossingpulver embossed. Dann habe ich noch einen Blumenstängel aus grünem Bändchen gemacht, das ich hier und da mit einem Tacker befestigt habe. Ich hoffe Ihr mögt mein kleines 'Experiment' mit der Blume :-)
(juhu.. und ich hab' es auch mit dieser Karte in die Basic Grey Idea Gallery geschafft :-) )

EAC 39 + TPE 14: Friends

This week we at Everybody Art Challenge don't have a sketch but a theme: 'Friends and Family'. It would be great if you'd like to play along with us :-)

The Pink Elephant challenge was asking for a colour scheme: 'light blue, medium blue, green and white' and so this is also an entry for TPE this week :-)

PB Challenge 48 - Day Dreams

Hier ist mein Beitrag für die PB Challenge Woche 48 - Schwarz, Weiss und eine andere Farbe ... ich habe hier Pink benutzt ;) Ich habe gerade kürzlich meinen brandneuen PB Stempel 'day-dreams' bekommen und dachte der wäre doch perfekt für diese Art von Karte.. ich hoffe sie gefällt Euch ein wenig.
