'Whimsy Stamps' are looking for new Design Team members! For details please visit Denise's blog! I'm sorry to say, that I don't have any Whimsy stamps yet :-( But I really love the whimsy images and I'm sure I will buy some of these cute stamps in the near future ;-)

For my card I used a Whiff of Joy image and colored it with Tombow markers, a waterbrush and added a little glitter with a Sakura Stardust pen (see close up at the bottom - please click on the image to view in original size)

Leider habe ich bis jetzt noch keine Whimsy Stempel :-( Aber ich finde diese schnuckeligen, verspielten Motive einfach toll und ich werde ganz sicher demnächst auch den ein oder anderen dieser niedlichen Stempelchen kaufen ;-)

Für meine Karte habe ich hier ein Whiff of Joy Motiv mit Tombow Markern und einem Wassertankpinsel coloriert und noch ein bisschen Glitzer mit einem Sakura Stardust Stift hinzugefügt (siehe auch die Nahaufnahme unten - bitte auf's Bild klicken, damit man es in Originalgröße sehen kann - dann erkennt man auch was)

Enjoy The Moments That Makes You Smile - Card Sketch 84 (Sketches! {by Tamara})

I used the new sketch (#84) from 'Sketches! {by tamara}' for this card.

I loved working with this sketch even though it was a bit hard for me and brought me out of my comfort zone
(because I did not use an image but only text as the focal point besides the paper flowers)

I created the paper flowers by punching out some pre-coloured cardstock (I coloured it before with various inks and let dry). I then stamped the small grunge brushstroke flower from Stempelglede in the center of each flower with chocolate ink. Then I crumpled it up, flattened and then used a pen to round the petals to give it some depth. Finally I added some glitter, a spacer and a brad.

Ich habe für diese Karte den neuen Sketch (Nr.84) von 'Sketches! {by tamara}' benutzt.
Es hat mir wirklich Spass gemacht mit diesem Sketch zu arbeiten obwohl es für mich gar nicht so einfach war und ich hier so ein bisschen abseits meiner normalen "Arbeitsweise" war (weil nämlich kein Motiv auf der Karte drauf ist, sondern hier nur der Text als Hauptmotiv -neben den Papierblumen- fungierte)

Die Papierblumen habe ich gemacht indem ich vorcolorierte Karteikarte (ich hab' die vorher mit verschiedenen Stempelfarben eingefärbt und trocknen lassen) ausgestanzt habe. Dann habe ich die kleinen Grunge Blüten ('Brushstoke Flower small') von Stempelglede jeweils in die Mitte mit 'chocolate' (dunkelbraun) gestempelt. Dann habe ich die Blumen in der Hand zusammengeknüllt und anschliessend wieder glatt gestrichen. Dann hab' ich einen Kuli genommen und mit dessen Hilfe die Blütenblätter ein bisschen rund gedreht, damit sie ein bisschen 3d mässig aussehen. Zum Schluss hab' ich noch ein bisschen Glitzer drauf getan und das ganze mit einem Spacer und einem Brad versehen.

Sugar Nellie Guest DT: Scattering Love // Sugar Bowl

Ok.. I finally managed to do a card for Sugar Bowl challenge #4.. this was really hard.. only to use one DP *lol*
And as the Sugar Nellie stamps name is 'Scattering Love' I thought I will take this literally and let the cute girl scatter the LOVE (and feed the chicken .. of course *grin*). I cut out the girl and the chick closely and set it on pop dots to stand out a bit. And the chicken is covered all over with Sakura Glitter pen... but well.. what to say.. I could not catch the sparkle on the picture ;-(

Ok.. ich habe es letztlich doch noch geschafft eine Karte für den Sugar Bowl Challenge Nr.4 zu machen.. es war wirklich schwierig... nur ein Design Papier zu benutzen *lol*
Und da das Motiv von Sugar Nellie 'Scattering Love' (also soviel wie "verstreue/verteile Liebe") heisst, habe ich mir gedacht ich nehme es mal wörtlich und lasse das Mädchen LOVE (also das englische Wort für Liebe) verstreuen (und natürlich auch das Hühnchen füttern *grins*). Ich hab' das Mädel und das Hühnchen konturengenau ausgeschnitten und es auf 3D Pads gesetzt, damit es noch ein bisschen besser zur Geltung kommt. Außerdem ist das Hühnchen komplett mit Glitzer bedeckt (habe dazu einen Sakura Glitzerstift benutzt).. aber.. naja.. wie üblich kann man das auf dem Foto nicht erkennen ;-(

EAC DT - Mini Purse

Today we have a wonderful new challenge over at 'Everybody Art Challenge' - the theme this week it's BAGS :-) I used my Scor Pal and some stamped cardstock to create this mini purse. This really is a 'mini'.. it's the perfect size to hold a chocolate candy bar :-)

Heute gibt es wieder eine wundervolle neue Herausforderung beim 'Everybody Art Challenge' - diese Woche lautet das Thema TASCHEN :-) Ich habe hierzu mein Scor Pal benutzt und bestempelten Cardstock um dieses Mini Täschchen zu gestalten. Und es ist wirklich "Mini" ... es ist nämlich das perfekte Täschchen für ein "Ferrero Küsschen" :-)

Frohe Ostern - Happy Easter - WoJ Challenge

The Whiff of Joy challenge this week is also a Guest Design Team call :-)
We had to use another great sketch from the WoJ owner Katharina. And as I got my new Spring Kit a few days ago, I decided to create a little 'scene' with some of the stamps (girl, stump, basket and little chick :-) ) I don't have any easter sentiment stamps - so I computer generated this one ('Frohe Ostern' is German for 'Happy Easter')

Die Whiff of Joy Challenge ist diese Woche auch gleichzeitig verbunden mit der Suche nach einem Gast Designer :-) Wir sollten wieder einen der wunderbaren Sketche von Katharina - der Besitzerin von WoJ - umsetzen. Und da ich ja vor ein paar Tagen mein neues Spring Kit bekommen habe, dachte ich mir ich stemple mal eine kleine 'Szene' damit (ich habe das Mädchen, den Baumstumpf, den Korb und das kleine Küken benutzt :-) ) Da ich keinen Oster-Text-Stempel besitze, habe ich mir den Text ("Frohe Ostern") eben kurzerhand am Computer erstellt.

Zettiology - EAC

Here I am with one of my first and beloved stamps - it's non cute *lol* - it's a Zettiology stamp
And boy.. I still love this stamp to bits! But didn't have use it for ages :-(
Thanks 'Everybody Art Challenge' I decided to snatch up this gorgeous stamp again and create something
following the wonderful sketch made by Tina. I just mirrored the sketch to fit my image ;-)

So... hier bin ich mit einem meiner allerersten und heiss geliebten Stempeln - ja.. der ist nicht niedlich *g* - es ist ein Zettiology Stempel
Und mannomann.. ich liebe diese Stempel wirklich immer noch abgöttisch! Habe ihn nur schon Ewigkeiten nicht mehr benutzt :-(
Aber dank des 'Everybody Art Challenge' habe ich heute beschlossen wieder mal zu diesem tollen Stempel zu greifen und etwas damit zu machen. Ich habe mich dabei an Tinas wunderbaren Sketch gehalten. Habe ihn lediglich gespiegelt, damit es zu meinem Motiv passt ;-)

Wohoo.. just received the 'Spring Kit' from Whiff of Joy today - and well... it was really worth waiting for it.. the images are gorgeous - I love them ALL *lol* And as I used lots of glitter over the image (unfortunately you cannot really see all the lovely subtle sparkle from my new Sakura Stardust pens *wink@Pops* :-( But I hope it counts as an entry for this weeks 'Pink Elephant' challenge ( I swear there is glitter *lol*)

Juhuuu.. gerade heute kam mein 'Frühlings Kit' von Whiff of Joy - und was soll ich sagen... das Warten hat sich wirklich gelohnt.. die Motiv sind unglaublich schön - ich liebe sie wirklich ALLE *lol* Und da ich eine Menge Glitzer überall auf dem Motiv aufgetragen habe (blöderweise kan man den schönen und nur sehr leichten Scimmer von meinen neuen Sakura Stardust pens *zwinker zu Pops* nicht erkennen :-( Aber ich hoffe es zählt trotzdem als Beitrag für den dieswöchigen Challenge bei 'Pink Elephant' (Ich schwöre auch das da Glitzer ist *lol*)
