EAC 33 - Iris' Sketch

This week we at EAC have another great sketch for you to try! This week's sketch is made by our lovely Iris :-)

For this card I made a background using Distress inks in Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany and Dried Marigold.
I then stamped the image with Versafine black ink and colored the lights with a yellow glaze pen.
After drying I went over parts of the image with some white beeswax.

Diese Woche haben wir bei EAC nochmal einen wunderbaren Sketch für Euch zum Ausprobieren! Der Sketch dieser Woche kommt von unserer lieben Iris :-)

Für diese Karte habe ich einen Hintergrund aus Distress Stempelfarbe Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany und Dried Marigold gestaltet. Dann habe ich das Motiv mit Versafine in schwarz gestempelt und die Lichter mit einem gelben Glaze Stift coloriert. Nachdem alles gut getrocknet war, habe ich Teile des Bildes mit etwas weissem Bienenwachs überzogen.

Sketches! {by tamara} #88 - HI!

Wow.. it's Thursday again (where has the time gone???) and time for another card sketch challenge over at 'Sketches! {by tamara}'. The next view weeks we will have A Blast From The Past' - that means, we are using an older sketch from Tamara....

For this card I used my QuicKutz 'Nested Flowers' dies and cut out a scalloped circle card.
I stamped the butterfly twice: Once directly on the card and a second time on a piece of cardstock to cut it out, colour it in and mount it on the first butterfly to create a kind of 3D look...

Wow... schon wieder Donnerstag (wo ist nur die Zeit geblieben???) und es ist Zeit für einen weiteren Karten Sketch Challenge bei 'Sketches! {by tamara}'. Die nächsten paar Wochen werden wir "A Blast From The Past" haben - das heisst wir werden keine neuen, sondern ein paar ältere Sketche von Tamara benutzen...

Für diese Karte habe ich meine QuicKutz 'Nested Flower' Stanzschablonen benutzt um eine Kreiskarte mit Wellenrand auszuschneiden. Ich habe den Schmetterling zweimal gestempelt: Einmal direkt auf die Karte und dann nochmal auf Karteikarte. Den zweiten habe ich dann konturengenau ausgeschnitten, coloriert und so angebracht, das es sowas wie einen 3D Look gibt...

EAC 31 - Something You Can Eat

It took so long, because I had to print out, cut out, fold all the names (mostly twice) and put them into the bowl
Then I wanted my little boys to do the drawing.. wanted everything fine and fair :-)
So I let my youngest son 'Jonas' (he's 4 y old) and my second one 'Aaron' (he's 6y old)

my first MFT card

OMG!!! You will never guess what I found in my mailbox just now!!!

Ohhhhh....... look.....I got this fantabulous card from Kim (Creative Diversions)

The card is SO adorable.. it's hard to believe but it's exceeding gorgeous IRL than on this photo (even it looks absolutely gorgeous on this photo already :-) ) AND not enough ... she sent me some MFT clear stamps *wooooowwwwww* Kim .... I can't find the right words to say how I am feeling now ... (I'm really moved to tears!!!)... you are so generous and sweet, Kim.. thank you soooooooo much!!!!!

OMG!!!! Ihr werdet niemals erraten was ich gerade eben in meinem Briefkasten gefunden habe!!! Ohhhhh....... schaut nur .....ich habe diese absolut fantastisch geniale Karte von Kim (Creative Diversions) bekommen (siehe oben)

Die Karte ist SO wunderschön... man mag es kaum glauben aber sie ist in Natura NOCH viel schöner als hier auf dem Foto (obwohl sie schon auf dem Foto umwerfend aussieht :-) ) UND nicht genug damit hat sie mir auch noch ein paar MFT (My Favorite Things) Clear Stamps mitgeschickt! *wwwwooooowwwwwww* Kim... ich kann gar nicht die richtigen Worte dafür finden, wie ich mich gerade fühle und freue... (ich bin wirklich zu Tränen gerührt!!!)... Du bist so unglaublich süss und grozügig, Kim..... viiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelen herzlichen Dank!!!!!

CAS Birthday Wishes

I always love these Clear And Simple cards when seeing them on SCS or other blogs! For me, they are a huge challenge, because I think it's sometimes harder to create a beautiful card with lots of space and limited supplies than using lots of embellies, flowers, die cuts etc.
Well... I'm anything but perfect with this kind of cards but I keep trying from time to time... ;-)

For this card I stamped the tree image and sentiment with black ink on white cardstock. Then went around anything with a light pink Tombow marker. Added light pink to the blossoms, too and some additional sparkle (with my beloved Sakura Stardust clear pen) - but you cannot see this on the photo :-( Then just added a ribbon - that's it ... really simple *lol*

Ich liebe diese 'Clear And Simple' Karten immer sehr wenn ich sie auf SCS oder anderen Blogs sehe! Für mich ist es immer eine große Herausforderung, denn ich denke es ist manchmal schwieriger eine schöne Karte zu machen mit viel Raum und nur begrenzten Mitteln als wenn ich jede Menge Embellishments, Blümchen, Die Cuts usw. verwende.
Naja.. ich bin alles andere als perfekt bei dieser Art der Kartenerstellung.. aber ich versuche es immer wieder mal von Zeit zu Zeit... ;-)

Für diese Karte habe ich den Baum und den Spruch in schwarz auf weisse Karteikarte gestempelt. Dann habe ich alles mit einem hellen pinkfarbenen Tombow Stift umrandet. Ich habe auch noch ein wenig pink auf jede Blüte gegeben.. ebenfalls noch ein bisschen Glitzer (mit meinem geliebten Sakura Stardust Stift) - aber das kann man auf dem Foto leider nicht erkennen :-(
Dann noch ein Ribbon - fertig.. wirklich einfach *lol*

Sketches! {by tamara} 86 // Thank You

I proudly present my first card I did as a card design team member for Sketches!{by tamara} :-) This weeks sketch is just beautiful - well... but there are ALWAYS beautiful and easy to follow sketches! If you haven't yet, just hop on over >>>HERE<<< and then show us YOUR creations!

On this card I used five squares: three are stamped with flourishes and two are stamped with birds and then popped with foam dots! The flower is again punched out with my Retro flower punch, stamped with Stempelglede small grunge flower and glittered with stickles. Center of the flower is a spacer and a brad.

Ich bin sehr stolz darauf, Euch hier die erste Karte zu präsentieren die ich als Mitglied des Karten Design Teams für Sketches!{by tamara} gemacht habe :-) Auch diese Woche gibt es wieder einen wundervollen Sketch - aber es gibt dort wirklich IMMER wunderschöne und tolle Sketches! Falls Ihr noch nicht dort ward, schaut doch einfach mal >>>HIER<<< vorbei und zeigt uns dann EURE Kreationen!

Ich habe für diese Karte fünf Quadrate benutzt: Drei davon wurden mit Schnörkeln bestempelt, zwei weitere mit Vögeln. Die beiden Vogel-Quadrate hab' ich dann mit 3D Pads über die drei anderen gesetzt! Die Blume ist mal wieder mit dem Retro Flower Stanzer ausgestanzt, mit dem kleinen Stempelglede Grunge Flower Stempel und etwas Stickles beglitzert. Die Mitte der Blume besteht aus einem sog. "Spacer" und einem Brad.

CAS Bird

Today I have a very Clean and Simple (CAS) card to share. I made this for the color combinations challenge over at SCS. The color combo to use was: Basic Black, Rose Red and Always Artichoke. As I don't have any SU! stuff I just used black, red and dark green ;) I highlighted all greens with a Sakura Stardust (glitter) pen in clear

Heute hab' ich mal eine SEHR EINFACHE (CAS = 'Clean And Simple') Karte zu zeigen. Ich habe sie für die Farbkombi-Challenge auf SCS gemacht. Die geforderte Farbkombi war: Basic Black, Rose Red und Always Artichoke. Da ich aber leider keine SU! Sachen habe, habe ich halt einfach schwarz, rot und dunkelgrün benutzt ;) Ich habe alles was grün ist noch mit einem Sakura Stardust (Glitzer) Stift in klar akzentuiert.
