Embossed 'Greetings'

Embossing always adds a nice touch to every card, I think. But I did not do heat embossing for ages and decided that it's a good time to try it again, today *lol* But I also wanted to think a little bit outside the box so I embossed the tree once with a glittery clear embossing powder and then I stamped the tree a second time with black ink OVER the embossed one (slightly offset). I hope you can see it in the photo.. it really looks cool IRL :) All other things are kept very simple....

Get Well Soon


I made this card 'just because' - not for a special challenge or something, just to have a 'Get Well Soon' card on hand when I need one (now that it's soooo cold here I think it will be useful very soon ;) )


and here's an additional close up picture to show you the subtle shimmer I got from using the Sakura Stardust glitter gel pen
