Phindys Friday Challenge: Clean and Simple

Good morning everyone! Hope you had a great week and you are ready for the weekend that will start soon :) We have another challenge up and running at the Phindys Place challenge blog and this time it was really a HUGE challenge for me, because this week the cards should be 'Clean and Simple'

*eek* ... oh my.... this is sooooo NOT my style *LOL*

For this card I colored and cut out the girl trimming closely and put her onto the digitally created background using foam pads. Of course I could not resist doing some faux stitching again ;-)

Ich hoffe Ihr hattet eine gute Woche und seid bereit für das Wochenende, das ja bald beginnt :) Wir haben eine neue Herausforderung für Euch auf dem Phindys Place Challenge Blog und diesmal war es wirklich eine GROOOOSSE Herausforderung für mich, denn diese Woche sollen die Karten im 'Clean and Simple' Stil gemacht werden

*iiiihhh*.... ojeoje... das ist ja wirklich so gar nicht mein Stil *lach*

Für die Karte habe ich das Mädel koloriert, konturengenau ausgeschnitten und dann auf den digital erstellten Hintergrund gesetzt (mit 3D pads). Und natürlich mussten auch wieder ein paar 'falsche Nähte' mit auf die Karte ;-)

Here's another card I made for the challenge... and speaking of 'challenges'.. thought I'd try my hand on 'digital stamp paper piecing' this time.. I never have done this with digi stamps before ;)

ok.. und hier ist noch eine weitere Karte die ich für diese Herausforderung gemacht habe..und wo wir gerade von Herausforderungen sprechen.. ich dachte ich probiere mal das 'Papier Piecing' mit Digi Stempeln aus.. habe ich mit digitalen Stempeln zuvor noch nie gemacht ;-)

And as I have written above.. this is for the clean and graphic style *g*

Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger

I recently discovered the 'Moxie Fab World' blog and love it! 

Every Tuesday there's an inspiration challenge starting with a picture as a 'trigger' and so the challenge is called 'Tuesday Trigger' :)

Get Well Soon - 2 Sketches 4 You

Again I used one of the great sketches from 2 Sketches 4 You :) This week is Lauras turn and she came up with another wonderful and easy to follow sketch. I truly love the sketches that are provided at 2 Sketches 4 You because they give you a guideline but lots of freedom to make this totally your own! 
 Wieder einmal habe ich einen der tollen Sketche von 2 Sketches 4 You benutzt :) Diese Woche ist wieder Laura an der Reihe und sie hat einen neuerlichen wunderbaren Sketch kreiert. Wirklich, ich liebe die Sketches von 2 Sketches 4 You weil sie einem eine Orientierung aber dennoch auch genügend Freiheit bieten das man komplett "sein eigenes Ding" machen kann!

Hi everyone :) Here comes my second post for today
I just saw the wonderful stamp images 'little fairies' designed by Mo Manning (Mos Digital Pencil Shop aka Digitalpencil Too) and immediately fell in love with them. So I had to buy me all of these beauties and here's my first card I made using one of them!

Post-It-Booklet

Good morning everyone! Wishing you a wonderful, sunny and happy Sunday :)

Today I made a post-it-booklet. I pulled out my Bind-It-All, took two beer coasters, put some (digital and print out) design papers on them, and decorated it with a ribbon and a LeLo image that I colored with my beloved Tombows and a watertank brush.

Guten Morgen zusammen! Ich wünsche Euch allen einen wunderschönen, sonnigen und gut gelaunten Sonntag :) Heute habe ich mal ein Post-It-Büchlein gemacht. Ich habe meine Bind-It-All herausgekramt, zwei Bierdeckel genommen, diese mit (digitalen und ausgedrucketen) Design-Papieren bezogen, ein Bändchen drum und anschliessend das LeLo Hühnchen, das ich mit meinen geliebten Tombows und einem Wassertankpinsel coloriert habe, drauf gepackt :)

Whiff of Joy: new summer stamps, sale and GDT call

 

Whiff of Joy has some new and adorable summer stamps and this is a card I made using some of these new images.  I used 'Sailor Willow' and the 'Beach Chair' as well as the starfishes and text from the July Store Kit to create this little beach scenery :) The background papers and the sun are from a digital scrapbooking kit. I cut out the sun trimming closely (*phew*..*lol*). The starfishes are colored, cut out trimming closely and I put two of them onto foam dots to make them pop and give the whole card a little more dimension.

Bei Whiff of Joy gibt es einige neue und wunderschöne Sommer Stempel und diese Karte habe ich mit einigen dieser neuen Motive gemacht. Um diese kleine Strandszene zu kreieren habe ich 'Matrose Willow' , den 'Strandkorb' sowie die Seesterne und den Text aus dem Juli Shop Stempel Kit benutzt. Die Hintergrundpapiere und die Sonne oben rechts sind aus einem digitalen Scrapbook Kit. Die Sonne habe ich konturengenau ausgeschnitten (*puh*..*lol*) und genauso habe ich es mit den Seesternen gemacht: Koloriert und ausgeschnitten. Zwei davon habe ich dann auf 3D Pads gesetzt um dem Ganzen etwas mehr Dimension und Tiefe zu verleihen.

Oh Du meine Güte.. ich bin ja sooo hintendran mit meiner DT Arbeit... ich hab' soviele wirklich blöde und nervtötenden Dinge die zur Zeit in meinem Leben passieren und um die ich mich kümmern muss.. es ist echt furchtbar und ich weiss gar nicht wie alles auf den Kreis bekommen soll und außerdem ist es immer noch soooooo unglaublich heiß hier, das ich das Gefühl habe, bald weg zu schmilzen *puh* ;-/

But I did this card for our current Phindys Place Challenge where we want to see BLUE
I *love* blue and I hope you also love this color and will join in the fun!

Whiff of Joy HENRY Sneak Peek *yay*

Oh I'm so excited! I'm a huge 'Henry' fan! I really love this cute little mouse man ;) And what better news than there are some new images on their way to the Whiff of Joy store *woohoo*
 So here's one of them... Henry Mouse with Cocktail :) He will be available from July 18th!

Oh Mann ich freu mich total! Ich bin ja ein riesiger 'Henry' Fan! Wirklich.. ich find den kleinen Mäuserich total knuffig und süss! Whiff of Joy GDT - Life's A Beach

There's a new store kit available from Whiff of Joy. It's called 'Life's a Beach' and it's absolutely PERFECT to make cards in these summery days :)  And Elisabeth Bell did it again.. she created wonderful girl images and beautiful elements as well as Katharina and Bev did a great job on creating the matching sentiments/texts!
A really felicitous summer kit.
