Back to School - Hurry Up Heidi

Hi everyone! Hope you all have had a great start into the new week :o)

I have another 'Back to School' card today to show - this time it's a card for a teenage girl

The stamp image is from Phindys Place and it's called 'Hurry Up Heidi'. I colored her with Tombow Dual Brush pens and watercolor pencils.  Oh.. and this time I wanted to try something new: Instead of doing faux sewing I did some real sewing around the edges of the image *g* .... but I think next time I'll do the faux sewing again *lol* The papers are printed papers from a digital scrapbook kit called 'Grapefruit Twist' by Sugarplum Paperie.. aren't they yum? To create the card I followed the wonderful sketch over at Stamp with Fun

Heute habe ich noch eine weitere 'Zurück auf die Schulbank' Karte mitgebracht - diesmal für ein Teenager Mädel.

Der Stempel ist von Phindys Place und er heißt "Hurry Up Heidi". Ich habe wieder mit Tombow Dual Brush pens und Aquarellstiften koloriert. Ohhh.. und diesmal wollte ich unbedingt mal was Neues probieren: Anstatt "falscher Nähte" habe ich dieses Mal richtig um die Ecken herum genäht - von Hand *uah*... aber ich glaube das ich nächstes Mal doch lieber wieder zu meinen falschen Nähten zurück kehren werde *lol* Die Papiere sind gedruckte Digi Scrapbooking Papiere aus dem Kit "Grapefruit Twist" von Sugarplum Paperie.. sind sie nicht toll? Für die Karte habe ich den wunderbaren Sketch bei Stamp with Fun benutzt

Back To School

Hi everyone and happy Thursday :o)

We still have two weeks until school starts again and I thought it would be a nice idea to make a card for my 7 yo son Aaron when he will go back to school. I'm sure he will like it (he's a huge fan of my cards *giggle*)
This card also fits into the current ABC Design Blog challenge (thanks Jacilynn *smile*)

Hello Friend - Donnas Den of Crafts challenge

Hi everyone! Wishing you all a super start into the new week!

Today we have another challenge starting at Donnas Den of Crafts Blog!  This time we want to see lots of layers, because the theme is 'decoupage'.  You don't have to use a decoupage sheet but can do it the way I did: Stamp an image a few times and cut it/parts of if out and layer it to create a 3 dimensional look :)

Heute beginnt eine neue Herausforderung bei Donnas Den of Crafts! Diesmal möchten wir ganz viele Lagen sehen, denn unser Thema ist "Decoupage". Dafür müsst Ihr nicht unbedingt einen Decoupage (oder 3D) Bogen benutzen sondern könnt es machen wie ich hier: Stempelt ein Motiv einfach mehrfach ab und schneidet es bzw. Teile davon aus und macht ein 3D Motiv daraus :)

My Sweet Friend

Hi everyone and sorry for being such a bad blogger last week. Life is so busy at the moment that I hardly find the time to do something crafty :-( But today is Friday again and time for another Phindys Place Challenge :o) This week we want to see cards/projects for a baby or small child. Birthday Card with Pennant

The Treehouse

Hi everyone, hope you all have a great Monday and the start into the new week is good :)

I just discovered the blog of a stamping company called 'The Treehouse'

I've never heard about them before, but they have monthly contests with a freebie to work with :)

So I printed the image twice on watercolor paper, colored it using watercolor pencils, some baby oil, Tombow Dual Brush pens and a watertank brush. Then cut out parts of the image (clouds, flower, body of the mouse) and put it on pop dots for some dimension and additional interest. Added a teeny tiny bit of Stardust Stickles to the center of the flower.. that's it :o)

Hallo zusammen, ich hoffe Ihr habt einen tollen Montag und einen super Start in die neue Woche :)

Ich habe gerade einen neuen Blog entdeckt. Und zwar ist es der Blog des Stempelherstellers 'The Treehouse'

Ich habe noch nie zuvor davon gehört, aber es gibt dort eine monatlichen Wettbewerb bei dem man ein Freebie benutzen muss, um damit eine Karte zu machen :)
Also habe ich das Motiv zweimal auf Aquarellpapier ausgedruckt und mit Aquarellstiften, etwas Babyöl, Tombow Dual Brush pens und einem Wassertankpinsel koloriert. Dann habe ich Teile des kolorierten Motivs konturengenau ausgeschnitten (Wolken, Blume und den Körper der Maus) und auf 3D Pads gesetzt um etwas Tiefenwirkung zu erzielen. Dann noch einen klitzekleinen Klecks Stardust Stickles in die Mitte der Blume.. fertig :o)

Gift Tag for a Little Princess

The Goddaughter of DH is celebrating her Birthday tomorrow and we will give her a cute princess umbrella as a gift. To decorate the wrapped umbrella and instead of a card I've made this tag (the birthday wishes are written on the back of the tag)
If you are a regular visitor of my blog you may have seen a similar card I made before... but this is a new project and I hope I'm not boring you with an overdose of these cute fairies ;-)  But I really love them so much.. could use them over and over again :-)

Die Patentochter meines Mannes feiert morgen Geburtstag und bekommt von uns einen süssen Prinzessinnen Schirm geschenkt. Als Dekoration des verpackten Schirms und als Kartenersatz habe ich diesen Anhänger gemacht (die Geburtstagrüße stehen auf der Rückseite des Hängers)

Wenn Ihr regelmäßig meinen Blog besucht habt Ihr vielleicht schonmal eine ganz ähnliche Karte von mir gesehen.. aber das hier ist ein ganz neues Projekt und ich hoffe ich langweile Euch nicht mit einer Überdosis dieser süssen Elfen ;-) Aber ich finde die wirklich soooo herzallerliebst ... ich könnte sie einfach immer und immer wieder verwenden :-)

Celebrate With Cake

Hi sweeties, it's Friday again.. time for our next Phindys challenge and I'm sure you will love this one, because anyone needs cards for BIRTHDAYs :) 
I stamped (printed, because it's a digi stamp), colored and cut out the image trimming closely and then put it on foam tape for some dimension.

Hallo Ihr Süßen, es ist schon wieder Freitag... Zeit für unsere nächste Herausforderung bei Phindys Challenge und ich bin sicher Ihr werdet diese Herausforderung toll finden, denn jeder braucht doch Karten für  GEBURTSTAGe :)
Das Motiv habe ich gestempelt (bzw. gedruckt, da es ja ein Digi Stempel ist), koloriert und konturengenau ausgeschnitten. Dann mittels 3D Pads auf die Karte gesetzt, um etwas mehr Dimension zu bekommen

I admit it: it's not very spectacular *giggles*.. but I think this way the focus is more on the cards and projects I want to show you here on my blog :)

I totally 'CASE'd the idea with the tabs on top from SemSee! Thanks SemSee for the inspiration and I hope you don't mind me adopting your idea!

Ich gebe es ja zu: Es ist nicht gerade spektakulär *giggel* ... aber ich denke auf diese Weise liegt der Fokus wieder mehr auf den Karten und Projekten, die ich Euch hier auf dem Blog zeigen möchte :)

Ich habe die Idee mit den verschiedenen Reiterchen oben bei SemSee gesehen und hemmungslos diese Idee geklaut! Vielen Dank an SemSee für die Inspiration und ich hoffe inständig es macht Dir nichts aus, das ich Deine Idee übernommen habe

my sweet (LeLo) friend

here comes my second post for today... to see my first one (a vintage card for a first day at school) please scroll down :)

hier kommt mein zweites Posting für heute.. um das erste (eine Vintage Karte zum Schulanfang) zu sehen, bitte runterscrollen :)

For this card I stamped the kitty with his little snail friend twice: Once directly onto the card and a second time onto watercolor paper. I colored the second print with Tombows and watercolor pencils, then cut it out and put it on the card using foam tape.

Für diese Karte habe ich das Kätzchen mit seinem Schneckenfreund zweimal gestempelt: Einmal direkt auf die Karte und ein zweites Mal auf Aquarellpapier. Den zweiten Abdruck habe ich mit Tombows und Aquarellstiften koloriert, konturengenau ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Pads auf die Karte gesetzt.

And as I told you some times before in my recent posts, there's a challenge going on at Moxie Fab World regarding different card styles. So I think this one fits for the 'Fun and Cute' style.
