Vintage New Years Card

Hi everyone :) Wanted to show a New Years card I made using the gorgeous 'Bohemian Rhapsody' kit by Quirky Twirp. I adore the papers and elements in this kit... love the vintage feeling of it.

Best Friends

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful and cheerful Christmas time!
Today I want to show you a card for a dear friend. To create this card I followed the sketch from Anne-Marije over at Create4Fun Challenges. Thanks for the sketch, Anne-Marije!
The image is a digi stamp from Mo Manning and I used my new Silhouette SD (*yay* for Santa aka DH ;-)))) ) to cut out the 'Best Friends' and the little flourish.
What you can't see on the picture: There's lots of *bling* on the card, because I used some Glimmer Mist on the paper flower (that was originally white), on the flourish and on the 'Best Friends' cut out.

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte für eine liebe Freundin zeigen. Als Inspiration habe ich den schönen Sketch von Anne-Marije bei Create4Fun Challenges benutzt. Danke für den Sketch, Anne-Marije!

Das Motiv ist ein Digi Stempel von Mo Manning und für das "Best Friends" und den kleinen Schnörkel habe ich meine neue Silhouette SD benutzt (ein "Hurra" und "Hoch" auf den Weihnachtsmann aka mein lieber Ehemann ;-)))) )
Was man auf dem Bild leider nicht erkennen kann, ist das es viel Geglitzer auf der Karte gibt. Ich habe nämlich Glimmer Mist für die Papierblüte (die ursprünglich weiss war), für den Schnörkel und das "Best Friends" benutzt.

Yo Ho - It's A Pirates 8th Birthday

Merry Christmas everyone!

Just stopping by to post this card I made for my (soon to be) 8 year old son

I used the digi stamps 'Captain Hugh' and 'Pirate Stuff' (both by Mo Manning) to create a little pirate's scenery :o) I printed it out, colored and then cut the scenery out to put it with pop dots on front of the card.

Ich komme nur schnell hier vorbei um Euch eine Karte für meinen (in Kürze) 8 Jahre alten Sohn zu zeigen.

Ich habe die Digi Stempel "Captain Hugh" und "Pirate Stuff" (beides von Mo Manning) benutzt um eine kleine Piratenszene zu kreieren :o) Ich habe alles ausgedruckt und koloriert,  anschließend die ganze Szene ausgeschnitten und sie dann mit 3D Pads auf die Karte vorn aufgebracht.

Sassy Cheryl's Color Me Challenge

I'm in love with the Sassy Cheryl's digi stamp images lately :-)

And now Cheryl came up with this super duper cute winter image as one of the images to use for the 'Color Me' challenge on her blog. Totally love this image.... but have to admit this is not one of my best cards... I chose the wrong papers for this (and now I don't have enough time to do another card in time for the challenge *sigh*) ... it's a gorgeous paper, but the photos just can't do them justice because it's so subtle in it's design and color.... 

In letzter Zeit haben es mir die Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stempel Motive wirklich sehr angetan :-)

Und nun hat Cheryl dieses superduper oberherzige Wintermotiv rausgebracht - als eines der Motive das man für die 'Color Me' Herausforderung auf ihrem Blog verwenden soll. Ich bin total verliebt in dieses Motiv... aber ich muss schon zugebene, das diese Karte hier nicht zu meinen besten gehört... ich habe wohl die falschen Papiere gewählt (und nun habe ich keine Zeit mehr um nochmal eine Neue für die Challenge zu machen *seufz) ... es ist eigentlich wunderwunderschönes Papier, aber auf den Photos kommt das einfach überhaupt nicht zur Geltung weil das Design so subtil und soft ist...

Season's Greetings

I made this card using another one of Sassy Cheryl's super cute snowman stamps. I really adore them :)
The papers and snowflake element is from a digital scrapbook kit, again. This one is called 'Seasons of Change - Winter' by Karen Lewis.

Today I want to show you a card that I've made without any stamps for 'Unscripted Sketches' (rotated the sketch 90°)
All papers and the butterfly with script backround are from a digital scrapbook kit called 'Treasure the Memory' by Sugarplum Paperie. I love the soft and subtle designs and colors in this kit!

Heute habe ich mal eine Karte völlig ohne Stempel gemacht - für 'Unscripted Sketches' (ich habe den Sketch um 90° gedreht)

Alle Papiere und der Schmetterling mit dem Schrift-Hintergrund sind aus einem digitalen Scrapbook Kit 'Treasure the Memory' von Sugarplum Paperie. Mir gefallen die subtilen, soften Farben und Designs bei diesem Kit so gut.
