Today I want to share this little Valentine's card with you using where I used the new Valentines stamps from LeLo Design.
The sentiment is German for 'you are my prince'

and here's an additional close up to show you the dimension: I put the small square on foam pads and cut out the little frog prince and put him on foam pads as well / und hier noch eine zusätzliche Nahaufnahme um die Dimension der Karte zu zeigen: Das kleine Quadrat habe ich auf 3D Pads gesetzt und den kleinen Frosch mit Krone habe ich ebenfalls erst konturengenau ausgeschnitten und dann noch einmal auf 3D Pads gesetzt

The Eiffel Tower is directly stamped onto the background. I stamped the super cute french boy, colored him with Tombows and watercolor pencils, then cut him out trimming closely and put him on 3 dimensional foam pads.

You and Me

 Hi everyone and happy Sunday :)
Today I want to show you my Valentine's Day card for DH. Yes... it's a Valentine's card even though it's not the traditional red and pink ;-) Since we are both handler of search and rescue dogs (we have two dogs) and so this new Valentine stamp from Lelo Design was PERFECT for my card :) Oh and this time I did NOT use a digi paper ;-) but some patterned papers from October Afternoon. I soooo adore the colors and designs of this papers!

Valentine's Day

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)
Valentine's Day is coming soon and I'm busy making some cards :o)
Here's one using one of the recently released Meljen's digi stamps. This one's the 'Little Brasserie' and I did some paper piecing here. I also used two digi sentimtents from Raindrop Echo. They are from one of Ann's wonderful ticket sentiment sets. I really adore them!  The papers again are from a digital scrapbook kit. It's the 'Mad Love' kit from Pixel Gypsy

Today I want to share a little gift box with you: It's a milk carton (approx. 5.5'' in height and 2.75'' in width) where you can put in lots of little goodies :)

Flutterby Friend

Hi everyone :)
Hope you are doing well and the week is in full swing :) Today I have a little friendship card to share with you.
I followed the easy but pretty sketch over at Totally Gorjuss and did something I usually don't do: I decorated the inside! *woohoo* ;-)


The image is a little kitty from Lelo Design and the papers are from the digi kit 'Sweetness' by Quirky Twerp
I did a little bit of distressing all around the edges using a Tim Holtz distressing tool and did some more distressing with some Adirondack inks in Butterscotch. I lightly colored around the image with some chalks. As a finishing touch I added Stickles in Stardust all around the edges. 

The inside was made with the same papers and I also used one of the provided sentiments from 'Sentimental Sundays' for their 'Anything With Wings' challenge. Isn't this sentiment adorable? Dorcas created it and it's available as a freebie for one week. Thanks so much! 

Actually the card was not too complicated to create, but I have to say that I like the result :)

Ich hoffe es geht Euch allen gut und die Woche ist so richtig gut im Schwung :) Heute habe ich eine kleine Freundschaftskarte zu zeigen. Ich hab' den einfachen aber schönen Sketch von Totally Gorjuss hierfür benutzt und habe etwas getan, was ich normalerweise nicht mache: Ich habe die Innenseite der Karte ebenfalls dekoriert! *juhuu* ;-)

Das Stempelmotiv ist ein kleines Kätzchen von Lelo Design, die Papiere sind von einem Digi Kit 'Sweetness' von Quirky Twerp. Ich hab dann noch überall um die Ränder mit dem Tim Holtz Distressing Tool gearbeitet und dann auch noch etwa Adirondack Butterscotch zum weiteren distressen benutzt. Um das Motiv herum habe ich ganz zart ein wenig Kreide gegeben. Als letzten Schliff hab' ich dann noch Stickles in Stardust an die Ränder gegeben. 

Die Innenseite habe ich mit denselben Papieren gemacht und ich habe außerdem einen der wunderschönen Sprüche verwendet, die es bei  'Sentimental Sundays' im Moment für ihre 'Anything With Wings' Challenge als Freebie gibt. Diese  wunderschönen Sprüche hat Dorcas erstellt und sie sind nur diese Woche
Eigentlich war diese Karte ja nicht wirklich schwierig, aber ich muss sagen, das mir das Ergebnis ganz gut gefällt :)

Featured Sassy Friend :-)

Hi everyone :) I'm so excited to tell you that the sweet Cheryl of Sassy Cheryl's asked me recently to be one of the 'Featured Sassy Friends' on her blog. Thanks Cheryl, that's a great honor for me :)

So I decided to use this cute image of a boy taking care of his friends ('Nature Lover Boy'), because as a mom of four boys I'm always in need of boys Birthday cards.. and I thought this image is just PERFECT :)

Hallo zusammen :) Ich freue mich sehr Euch erzählen zu dürfen, das die liebe Cheryl von Sassy Cheryl's mich kürzlich gefragt hat, ob sie mich als 'Featured Sassy Friend' auf ihrem Blog vorstellen darf. Vielen Dank Cheryl, das ist eine große Ehre für mich :) 

Also habe ich mich für dieses herzige Jungs-Motiv ('Nature Lover Boy') entschieden. Denn da ich Mutter von vier Jungs bin, brauche ich ständig Jungs-Geburstags-Karten...und ich find's so niedlich wie der Junge sich da so um seine kleinen Freunde kümmert und dachte, das ist ein PERFEKTES Motiv für eine Jungs-Geburstagskarte :)

Whimsy Digital New Release Blog Hop

It took me longer to take a photo and upload it than to create the card ... well almost *wink* Because I used one of the precolored images from Melissa (Meljen's) - this one's called 'The Frog Prince'! If you are in a hurry these precolored images are just perfect to create beautiful cards in no time at all :)

Hugs Your Way

Hi everyone :) This is my first post for today.. there will be a second one later this day for the Whimsy new digital release hop! So don't forget to come back later ;-)

I have not made a card using one of the adorable Whiff of Joy stamps recently, but I still LOVE them! And when I saw the sketch over at Truly Scrumptious, I immediately thought about this belly dancing beauty from Whiff of Joy... and here she is :)

Hallo zusammen :) Dies ist mein erstes Posting heute...es wird später noch ein weiteres geben für den Whimsy New Digi Release Blog Hop! Also nicht vergessen später nochmal vorbei zu kommen ;-)

Ich hab' schon lange keine Karte mehr mit einem der wunderbaren Whiff of Joy Stempel gemacht, aber ich LIEBE die Motive wirklich sehr! Und als ich den Sketch bei Truly Scrumptious gesehen habe, musste ich irgendwie sofort an die schöne Bauchtänzerin von Whiff of Joy denken... ja und hier ist sie nun also :)

Your Next Stamp Challenge #33 - Kerri's Sketch

Hi everone :) It's Wednesday and the start of our new (and first for 2011) challenge at Your Next Stamp challenges. This week we have a great sketch for you from our super talented team member Kerri! I think she did an amazing job on this sketch (I loved working with it!)

Hallo zusammen :) Es ist Mittwoch und es startet unsere neue (und erste in 2011) Herausforderung bei Your Next Stamp Challenges. Diese Woche haben wir einen tollen Sketch für Euch, den unser super talentiertes Team Mitglied Kerri für Euch kreiert hat! Ich finde sie hat einen großartigen Sketch entworfen (mir hat's riesig Spass gemacht damit zu arbeiten!)

And here's my card using the Scrapfest stamp that was given away as a special gift to all visitors of the Scrapfest event ;) This wonderful stamp image was designed by Karen, the owner of Your Next Stamp especially for this event.. very cool, isn't it?!

Whimsy Stamps Digital DT
