I {heart} Our Friendship

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :-)
I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and Santa was good to you ;-)

Today I want to share this simple friendship card I created for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge where they want to see projects with kraft and twine this time.

To create this card I  used up some scraps from my Pink Paislee Nantucket 6x6 paper pad
I punched out hearts in different sizes and then sewed them together. One of the hearts was put on dimensional adhesive tape

{DT} - Whimsy Stamps December Rubber + Die Release Day 6

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :-)

Welcome to our last day of showcasing the new December Whimsy Stamps rubber stamps and dies :-)

Here is card I made using the cute 'Lovey Pup' by Meljen's Designs
I kept this card pretty simple and with no text on the outside, because the text will be on the inside of the card only. And since the recipient of the card is a man I did not use the usual 'love' colors pink and red, but used brown, cream and hints of red :-)

Here is a very colorful card on which I used the new rubber stamp 'Miss Thang' by KennyK.
Ok ok ok... these colors and patterns are a bit funky and fancy but I thought these are just the perfect fit for this super cool girly girl image :o)

I stamped, colored and cut out the little Miss and then I put her on foam tape for dimension.

Here is a card I made using the cute new 'Giraffes in Love' stamp by Crissy Armstrong, 'Friendship Notables 2' sentiment stamps and the coordinating 'Shapeology Notables 2 Dies' by Raindrop Echo Designs.

I stamped, colored and cut out the giraffes and then put them on foam tape for dimension.
The crinkled seam binding was originally of a cream color. I just sprayed it with Glimmer Mists in 'coffee shop' to match the colors of my card.

{DT} - Cardabilities Sketch #45

Hi everyone and happy Thursday, again :-)

It's November the 15th and that means a new wonderful sketch from Karan Gerber for cardabilities!

Here is my card

using this adorable cardabilities sketch

Instead of punching out scalloped lines of cardstock and adding them to the horizontal rectangle, I just ruffled crinkled seam binding and adhered it behind the brown panel :)

Christmas Greetings

Hi everyone and happy Saturday! 

Today I want to show you a card I made with my new stamps from the 'Bright Spirits' stamp set by Verve Stamps.  Totally love this stamp set: It's so classy, elegant and versatile :)

To create this card I followed the current sketch from the 'Mojo Monday' challenge 

The patterned papers I used are from the 'Lost & Found Christmas' 6x6 paper pad.
Did a little bit of layering, distressing, sewing, paper piecing, fussy cutting, coloring, bow tying, die cutting and -of course- I added some bling to it... really simple ;-)

Season's Greetings

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!

Today I want to show you another hybrid card using Pink Paislee digital patterned papers and elements. This time it's the 'Holiday Magic' collection I used :-)

I cut out the stockings from the print out and then put two of them on foam tape for dimension.
I added some twine to 'hang' the stockings on (instead of using the black 'string' the digital element comes originally with)
I also put some 'Rock Candy' Stickles onto the cuffs and added rhinestones for some extra bling (because for me it's not a holiday card without any bling ;-) )
