Whimsy Digital New Release Blog Hop

Welcome to our February Whimsy Stamps digital new release blog hop  :)

We have lots of wonderful new images and sentiments to share with you, created by Crissy, Ann and Melissa!

Please leave comments along the way as there will be two mystery DT members who will each be choosing a winner from the comments left on their hop posts! The winners will each win one Whimsy digi image of their choice *woot*

The Grand Prize winner of the hop chosen from the very last stop, which is Melissa's blog, will receive 5 new digital stamps of their choice from Whimsy and will also get a chance to use those new digital images as a guest designer for Whimsy for the entire month of February - how cool is that?!

Here's a card I made using one of the new 'I Heart You' sentiments from Raindrop Echo Designs and 'Hearty Hippo' from Meljen's Designs:

To create the circle and ellipse cut outs I used my Silhouette, as well as for cutting out the little hearts I glued along the circle cut out. I put the overlay layer on 3 dimensional foam dots to give it a bit of dimension (don't know if you can see it very well in the picture?)

And here's a close up to show you the cut-outs .. hope you can see them better here in this picture?! oh.. and BTW... the colors in this close up picture are very close to the real colors.. the colors in the above pic are looking a bit washed out but I just couldn't get a better photo of the complete card *sigh*
