May Your Every Dream Come True

 

Hi everyone and happy Thursday :)

Today I want to share a card with you that I made 2 months ago in December :-) 
It was the very first card I made with the brand new Radiant Neon inks from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko.  

I know, I know... I already have shown some cards with these inks here on my blog, but this one was the first I created, anyway *lol*  
I made it for CHA and almost forgot to post it here on my blog *oops*

I just love how these rich pigment inks pop against every background - no matter if you use them on white (like I did here) or on black or whatever, you always achieve a stunning effect with them! Oh and you can actually blend them, which gives you a totally different - yet still wonderful - effect! Will show you a sample card with blended Radiant Neons in a future blog post ;-) 

You may notice, that I did not use any embellishments on the above card, not even my beloved rhinestones or sequins! That's because I thought these Neon inks paired with the adorable stamps, just make such a great impression that it didn't need anything else. 

I am curious if you feel the same? Or do you think, there's something missing? 

I have layered several ink colors over another, by simply heat setting each color layer underneath before stamping over it with the next color! This way you will not have any mess or mix up colors. You can find the detailed step-by-step instructions below this post in the grey boxes!

Did I already tell you, that I love these inks? ;-) Yes, I ***really*** do!!! :)

Instructions make 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base from 4 1/4" x 11" black cardstock cut 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock  stamp flowers in Radiant Neon Electric Pink in lower left and upper right corners and heat set when first layer of ink is dry, over stamp with flowers in Radiant Neon Electric Orange and heat set again when layers of ink are dry, over stamp with small dots in Radiant Neon Electric Yellow and heat set again stamp sentiment ("Wonderful Words" stamp set) with Memento Tuxedo Black adhere white panel to card base

Congrats on your Graduation

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch allen einen wunderschönen Mittwoch :)
Today I'm sharing a "Congrats" card for graduation :) This one is for a young man, therefore I kept the colors "cool" in white, aqua and black with a tiny hint of yellow on the bomb.	Heute zeige ich Euch eine Glückwunschkarte zur bestandenen Prüfung :) Diese ist für einen jungen Mann gedacht und darum habe ich die Karte in eher "kühlen" Farben wie blau, weiß und schwarz gehalten mit einem klitzekleinen Tüpfelchen gelb bei der Bombe.

Make Some Noise - CAS-ual Fridays #116

Hi everyone and happy Friday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch allen einen wunderschönen Freitag :)
Today a new challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays is starting! The challenge theme for the next week is	Heute startet eine neue Challenge bei CAS-ual Fridays! Und diesmal lautet die Herausforderung für die kommende Woche

For my card I used some patterned papers in really fun and happy colors! The background paper is from Color Hills, the chevron strips are cut out from a MME paper. Thes papers come with the October Scrapbook Werkstatt kit + add ons. The "Make Some Noise" stamp is from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and I love it's versatility! You could either use this card for a Birthday greeting or just a general Congratulations card! It just depends on what you write on the inside :)	Für meine Karte habe ich ein paar fröhlich bunte Papiere hergenommen. Im Hintergrund seht Ihr ein Papier von Color Hills und die Streifen mit den Chevron Mustern sind einfach aus einem gemusterten Papier von MME ausgeschnitten. Die Papiere sind übrigens im Oktober Kit bzw. im Beiwerk der Scrapbook Werkstatt enthalten. Der "Make Some Noise" Stempel ist von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps und ich mag die Vielseitigkeit! Die Karte kann man nun entweder als Geburtstagsgruß oder generell als Glückwunsch verschicken! Es kommt nur drauf an, was man nun auf die Innenseite schreibt :)

Baby Card

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch allen einen wunderschönen Montag :)
Recently, I submitted some cards for a magazine call but they did not pick any of them. The good thing about this is, that after submitting and being rejected, I have some more cards that I can show you here on my blog :-)	Ich habe kürzlich ein paar Karten für einen Magazin "Call" gemacht aber keine der Karten wurde genommen. Das Gute an der Sache ist, das nach solchen Bewerbungsaktionen natürlich immer viele Karten da sind, die ich Euch dann hier auf meinem Blog zeigen kann :-)
So, here is one of those cards I submitted. They asked for baby cards with polka dots and I created this clean and simple card using stamps from Lawn Fawn. The baby pouch was paper pieced, the crown and stork were stamped, colored and fussy cut - then put on dimensional foam pads.	Also kann ich Euch hier nun eine der Karten zeigen, die ich eingesendet hatte. Es wurde hier nach Baby Karten in Kombination mit Punkten gefragt und ich hatte diese CAS (=clean and simple) Karte gemacht. Alle verwendeten Stempel sind von Lawn Fawn. Der Baby Beutel wurde ge-paper-pieced (was für eine Wortschöpfung *lol* - soll eigentlich nur heißen, das er auf Papier gestempelt und anschließend ausgeschnitten wurde *grins*), die Krone und der Storch wurden coloriert, konturengenau ausgeschnitten und dann auf 3D Pads gesetzt.

Frankly My Dear, I Couldn't Be Happier For You

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)

Today I have a super quick post for you (because I forgot to schedule it and now I have to run and go to work *lol*)

Here's one of the cards that was featured on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog, yesterday :)

For this Congrats card, I have used no patterned papers but created the background myself using the fancy flower element in the "Frankly" set and a light sky blue ink.

I then die cut an oval window into the front and stamped the sentiment (also from "Frankly") in yellow on the inside. I put everything on foam pads (what else? *lol*) and added a sentiment strip plus some sequins.

Heute hab' ich nur ein ganz schnelles Posting für Euch (denn ich hab' total vergessen das vorzubereiten und hab's jetzt ziemlich eilig um ins Büro zu kommen *lol*)

Hier ist eine der Karten, die gestern auf dem CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog gezeigt wurden :)

Für diese Glückwunsch-Karte habe ich diesmal kein gemustertes Papier genommen, sondern das Muster für den Hintergrund selbst mit dem coolen Blumen-Element aus dem "Frankly" Set und einer hellblauen Stempelfarbe gestempelt. Dann habe ich ein ovales Fenster in die Front gestanzt und den Spruch (ebenfalls aus dem "Frankly" Set) in gelb auf die Innenseite gestempelt. Alles mit 3D Pads (was sonst *lol*) zusammen gesetzt, noch den Rest des Sprüchleins in blau auf ein Banner gestempelt und dann noch ein paar Pailletten befestigt.

CAS-ual Fridays - Polka Dots

For my card, I simply stamped the frame and sentiment (Avery Elle) onto a piece of polka dot paper (October Afternoon) then fussy cut it. Created a little bow with a piece of red jewelery floss and adhered it to the stamped label with Glossy Accents. Then I mounted everything with dimensional foam pads.

 

Für meine Karte habe ich einfach den Rahmen und den Spruch (Avery Elle) Auf ein Stück Papier mit Tupfenmuster (October Afternoon) gestempelt und dieses dann konturengenau ausgeschnitten. Dann noch ein kleines Schleifchen aus Schmuckdraht geformt und mit Glossy Accents aufgeklebt. Alle Teile habe ich dann zum Schluss mit 3D Pads zusammen und übereinander geklebt.

It's a... Boy!

Hi my sweet blogging friends and happy Tuesay :-)

My eye infection isn't getting any better yet and sometimes it's only haze I see   :-(
I hope the antibiotics will help and let it get better, today!

But anyway, I have another card to show you :-D
I created this New Baby card using papers from My Minds Eye 'Alphabet Soup' kit and die cuts from Jillibean Soup's 'Spotted Owl Soup'. The stamps are from a 'Baby' set of See D's (that are no longer available).

I want to enter this card into the current challenge at ...Wee Memories...
and also into Papertake Weekly where this week 'anything goes' :)

Congrats

Hi everyone and happy Friday :)

I have a super quick and easy Congrats card that I want to show you today:
For this card I used some of my leftover scraps from various October Afternoon patterned papers (I think they are from the 'Modern Homemaker' and 'Farm Fresh' collections).
I punched out some butterflies of the scraps and also cut out the 'Congrats' lettering using my Silhouette SD machine and a font I have on my computer (sorry.. forgot about which one it was.. I have a memory like a sieve *sigh*) and glued it all down with Glue Dots Minis and some liquid adhesive.

I hope you all will have a wonderful, sunny and creative weekend!
