You Are Terrific

 Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)
Today is the 26th of March and this means reveal of the new Scrapbook-Werkstatt April Kit with lots of gorgeous patterned papers, stickers, alphas and other goodies! 
And here's one more card I made with the beautiful papers that come with the kit
The papers are from Echo Park and Dear Lizzy (American Crafts)
For the card I used a technique that I saw in the "Pattern Play" workshop at Online Card Classes - layering with white/neutrals underneath! And even though I do layering by using dimensional foam adhesive all the time and for a long time now, I like the (new to me) idea of using a white pendant behind the popped up layer. Looks nice (but to be honest I'm not sure the result is worth the extra effort/material... I think it depends on the kind of project you are making)
The sentiment stamp that I used here on the card is form CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and all dies are from Spellbinders Paper Arts. These are NOT part of the kit!

Heute ist der 26. März und das bedeutet, das heute endlich das neue Scrapbook-Werkstatt April Kit mit all seinen wunderschönen gemusterten Papieren, Stickern, Alphas und noch viel mehr schicken Sachen, in den Verkauf geht!
Und hier möchte ich Euch noch eine weitere Karte zeigen, die ich mit den Kit-Papieren gemacht habe.
Die Papiere sind von Echo Park und Dear Lizzy (American Crafts)
Für die Karte habe ich eine Technik benutzt, die ich im "Pattern Play" Workshop bei Online Card Classes gesehen habe - nämlich Layers mit weiß darunter! Und obwohl ich nun wirklich beinahe auf jeder Karte Layer mit 3D Pads gestalte ist der Gedanke darunter das weiße Pendant dazu anzubringen für mich neu gewesen. Ich finde es sieht ganz nett aus (obwohl ich nicht weiß ob ich das in Zukunft nochmal machen werde bzw. ob es den Aufwand wert ist.. kommt wohl ganz auf die Karte und die Art der Layer drauf an)
 Der Stempel, den ich auf der Karte benutzt habe ist von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps und alle Stanzen sind von Spellbinders Paper Arts. Sie sind NICHT Teil des Kits!

Today I'm sharing another card with your where I used the adorable papers that comes with the new Scrapbook-Werkstatt April Kit.

The papers used on my card are all from American Crafts Dear Lizzy's "Lucky Charm" collection and like I said before, these come with the new April Kit, which will be available tomorrow!

The stamps are from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and they are NOT part of the kit!

I've stamped the flowers on white cardstock, then colored them with Tombow markers and added a little bit of Sakura Stardust (a clear glitter gel pen) to the red portions of the flowers. I then fussy cut them leaving a small white border, so they look like "stickers". I then made a "bunch" (from two flowers ;-) ) and added a little twine bow. The banner with the sentiment was put on dimensional foam adhesive as is the red star paper.

Heute möchte ich Euch eine weitere Karte zeigen, die ich mit den hübschen Papieren gemacht habe, die im neuen April Kit der Scrapbook-Werkstatt enthalten sind!

Die benutzten Papiere sind alle aus der Americen Crafts Dear Lizzy's "Lucky Charm"  Serie und wie ich bereits oben erwähnte, sind die im neuen April Kit enthalten, das AB MORGEN erhältlich sein wird!

 Die Stempel sind von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps und sind NICHT im Kit enthalten!

Ich habe die Blümchen zweimal auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, dann mit Tombow Stiften koloriert und außerdem noch ein wenig Sakura Stardust (das ist ein klarer Glitzer-Gelstift) auf die roten Blüten gegeben. Dann hab' ich die Blümchen ausgeschnitten und dabei einen schmalen weißen Rand gelassen, so das es aussieht, als seien sie "Sticker". Dann hab ich (aus den beiden Blümchen ;-) ) einen "Strauß" gebunden und ein Schleifchen aus Twine drum gebunden. Das Banner mit dem Spruch hab' ich auf 3D Pads gesetzt, so wie auch das rote Sternenpapier.

2 Cards with the new SBW April Kit

Today I'm sharing two cards with you! Yes, you read it right... even though this is something I don't do very often, I want to show you these cards where I used the beautiful new Scrapbook-Werkstatt April Kit that will be available for purchase on March 26th!
The content of this kit is -once again- gorgeous and I totally love the mix of patterned papers, stickers, twine etc. that comes with the kit!

Heute zeige ich Euch zwei Karten! Ja, Ihr habt richtig gelesen... etwas, das ich nicht sehr häufig mache, aber diesmal möchte ich Euch mehrere Karten zeigen, die ich mit dem wunderschönen Scrapbook-Werkstatt April Kit gewerkelt habe, das ab 26. März erhältlich sein wird!
Der Inhalt des Kits ist -wieder mal- einfach fantastisch und ich bin wirklich ganz begeistert von der Zusammenstellung der gemusterten Papier, Sticker, Twine usw.!

Ok, so without further ado, here are the two cards
Ok, genug geplappert - hier kommen also nun die beiden Karten

The first one is made using a chevron paper from Echo Park and a green grid paper from Studio Calico. The jar was fussy cut from a patterned paper by Dear Lizzy (American Crafts). The twine also comes with the April Kit, together with more twine in spring colors :) The stamps I've used on this card are all from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and they are NOT part of the kit!

Die erste Karte habe ich mit einem Chevron Papier von Echo Park, einem grünen Raster Papier von Studio Calico und einem Glas, das ich aus einem Papier von Dear Lizzy (American Crafts) ausgeschnitten habe. Das Baker's Twine ist ebenfalls Teil des April Kits und im Kit sind noch weitere hübsche Frühlings-Farben enthalten :) Die Stempel, die ich hier benutzt habe sind von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps und sind NICHT Teil des Kits!

The second card is made using an adorable patterned paper from Crate Paper! I just adore this pattern, but as a cardmaker the bold and huge pattern is hard to use. So the class "Pattern Play" from Online Card Classes came just right in time to make use of this wonderful paper anyway ;-)
I cut the paper in strips and arranged them onto the white card base. Then I covered the gaps with a pink striped Washi Tape and did a white wash using white Distress Stain all over it. When dry, I added some Stardust Stickles as well as some Liquid Pearls to accent the paper.
The stamps -again- are from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and they are NOT part of the kit!

Bei der zweiten Karte habe ich ein wunderwunderschönes Papier von Crate Paper benutzt! Ich liebe das Dessin dieses Papier, aber als Kartenbastlerin ist dieses prominente und große Muster wirklich schwer zu benutzen. So kam mir der Workshop "Pattern Play" von Online Card Classes gerade recht, um dieses wunderschönen Papier trotzdem nutzen zu können ;-)
Ich habe das Papier dazu in Streifen geschnitten und diese mit etwas Abstand auf die weiße Kartenbasis geklebt. Dann habe ich die Lücken mit pink gestreiftem Washi Tape abgedeckt und das ganze mit einem sogenannten "White Wash" mit Distress Stain überzogen. Nachdem das getrocknet war hab ich noch ein wenig mit Stardust Stickles und Liquid Pearls Akzente gesetzt.
Die Stempel sind auch hier wieder von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps und gehören NICHT zum Kit!
