It's THE time again: Dare to Get Dirty at Splitcoaststampers is in full swing and the Dirty Dozen and Dirty Dozen Alumni have a great time dareing the fan club members with awesome, creative and cool challenges! We also have a lot of fun chatter going on in the forums :)

Loving Thoughts

Today I'm having a super quick post for you sharing a CAS card I've done for the current sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers.
The papers on the card were part of the Scrapbook Werkstatt March Kit (that's already sold out) and they are from Elle's Studio and ILS.

Ich zeige Euch heute nur ganz schnell eine CAS Karte, die ich für die aktuelle Sketch Challenge bei den Splitcoaststampers gemacht habe.
Die verwendeten Papiere waren im März Kit der Scrapbook Werkstatt enthalten (das schon ausverkauft ist) und sie sind von Elle's Studio und ILS.

Happy Shower

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)
Today I'm sharing a card with you that fits perfectly into this months theme at the Splitcoaststampers fan club! Our central theme this month is "Icing and Sprinkles" so this shower card with all the rain "sprinkling" fits well ;-) I have used sequins some times before on cards (e.g. on this Christmas card), but this particular card was inspired by a card from Julie Ebersole I saw the other day - thanks for the inspiration, Julie!
I have used a sentiment from a Lawn Fawn stamp set, patterned papers from Echo Park Paper's  "Scoot" collection as well as cloud stickers from the same collection.
I've ink distressed all paper edges and the clouds, then put one of the clouds on foam dots for more interest.
Adding some faux stitching and then glued down the "rain" (sequins) using mini glue dots.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, die perfekt zum Monatsthema des Fan Clubs bei den Splitcoaststampers passt! Unser Hauptthema diesen Monat ist nämlich "Icing and Sprinkles" und somit passt diese Regenkarte doch ganz gut ;-) Ich habe Pailletten ja schon früher auf meinen Karten verwendet (z.B. auf dieser Weihnachtskarte), aber spezielle Karte hier war durch eine Karte von Julie Ebersole inspiriert, die ich gestern gesehen habe - Danke für die kreative Anregung, Julie!
Für die Karte habe ich einen Stempel aus einem Lawn Fawn Set benutzt, Papiere aus der "Scoot" Serie von Echo Park Paper und ebenfalls die Wolken Sticker aus derselben Serie.
Ich habe alle Ränder mit Stempelfarbe gewischt, ebenso die Wolken. Dann habe ich eine der Wolken auf 3D Pads gesetzt - für ein wenig mehr Dimension und um die Karte visuell interessanter zu gestalten.
Dann noch ein paar falsche Nähte und zum Schluss natürlich noch den "Regen" (Pailletten) mit Mini Glue Dots angebracht.
