Hi everyone and happy Sunday :)
'Thanks bunches' is not only the title of the card I am going to show you today but it's also directly from me to you! Because I'm so glad you are still popping in and looking if here's something new, even though I have been so quiet lately. I have been overwhelmed with work and last week I was sick and my mojo seemed to be on vacation ;-)
But -finally- my mojo and I are back ;-) and here's my newest card made with the beautiful papers from Authentique's 'Delightful' collection. I used papers from the 6x6 paper pad as well as a small flower sticker from the 'Delightful - Details Sticker' sheet. Even though it's self adhesive, I put it on piece of dimensional foam adhesive for some dimension and also added some Stickles to the center of the little flowers for some additional interest. It's not much but it just adds a little 'something'
I also used a sentiment from the new May release by Whimsy Stamps. This sentiment stamp is part of a set designed by Crissy Armstrong and it's called 'Summer Garden and Accessories'.
I thought there was a bit too much of turquoise/blue on this card and so I decided not to stamp the sentiment directly onto the card but stamped it on a yellow pp and cut out a little flag with one of the dies from the 'Nested Lacey Pennants' by Spellbinders Paper Arts.
To finish the card I just added some sewing, some inking and my beloved crinkled seam binding :-)
Last but not least, I added some decorative pins... and it's done :-)
I hope you like it and hope you had (or still have - depends on where in the world you live *smile*) a wonderful Sunday!
