AIR Project: Kaleidacolor "Thank You Berry Much"

(click on the picture above to view in full size)

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)

As always I am thrilled and excited to tell you that my next project is up on the IMAGINE Crafts blog, today :)

This time my card is featuring one of the super cool "Kaleidacolor" ink pads from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko!  Can you believe, that I did this card with one ink pad only? Yes, it's true! :)  These dye ink pads are so clever and they come in a variety of wonderful color combos. You can check them out, here.

If you have a minute, I would be delighted to see you over there!

Oh and maybe you also want to say "hello" while you are visiting their blog? *smile*
That would be marvelous :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you here on my blog again, soon :)

Guest Designer for SCS CAS Challenge: Thank You Card

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)

I am very excited today, because I was asked by the lovely Jen (aka Miss Boo) at Splitcoaststampers to be a guest designer for this weeks "Clean and Simple Cards Challenge".
Well of course I said "yessssssss please" *lol*

The current challenge is a "stair-step sketch" challenge with a given card to use as inspiration. When I began gathering my supplies and started to create, it was NOT my intention to copy the card.... seriously!!!

But in the end... my card was a total CASE of the given card  (see the challenge thread for the inspirational card) .... oh well! *lol*

I hope you will stop by at Splitcoaststampers and participate in the challenge!
I would be really delighted to see you playing along and uploading your card to the SCS gallery! :)

You can find all details about the challenge ***HERE***

Please refer to the grey boxes below this post for step-by-step instructions and a complete list of supplies :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you here on my blog again, soon :)

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps: October Sneak Peek #4 - Thank You Card

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)
Today is day four of the sneak peeks for the new to be released CAS-ual Fridays Stamps stamp sets and Fri-Dies!
There are two new stamp sets and three new die sets *woot*
On this fourth sneak peek day the DT shows you projects made with the new "Funky Round Tag Fri-Dies" set.
An diesem vierten Vorschau Tag zeigt Euch das DT Projekte mit dem neuen "Funky Round Tag Fri-Dies" Stanzen Set.

For my "Many Thanks" card I again used the "Amber Waves" stamp set (see sneak peek day 2) together with the new "Funky Round Tag Fri-Dies" set! I cut a tag with the larges die in the set, then stamped the spike and sentiment onto it and cut a "frame" using the same die and the inner circle. I then adhered the frame onto the tag and attached it to the card using a yellow crinkled seam binding. Some faux stitching finishes the card.
Find more inspiration with this fun set here on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog!

Thank You

Hi everyone and happy Friday, again :)
This is the second post for today (and if you want to see my little penguin card I've posted this morning, please scroll down) and I am sharing a very simple "Thank You" card with you .
I've used one of the beautiful new dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts that are called Die D-Lites.
This is a special collection of dies, that are smaller (and less expensive) than the usual Spellbinders dies.
The "Thank You" was created by using alphbet stickers from the "Thankful - Details" 12x12 sticker sheet by Authentique. The striped paper in the background also is from Authentiques "Thankful" collection.
I want to enter this card into this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge where they want us to incorporate something "torn", what I did with my brown cardstock border.
To be honest, I am not sure if this really fits the challenge, because although this card definitely is simple ;-) I am not sure it counts as "clean", too ;-) But thought I'd enter anyway and let you/them decide *smile*

"Thank You") Karte zeigen.

Birthday Card For a Little Fireman

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)

As some of you may know, I'm a mother to four boys .. the two 'little' ones are aged 6 and 8 and so I am in need of many birthday cards for boys (because they are invited to other little boys birthday partys a lot *smile*)

Soooo .. here's one more for my (actually not existing *g*) stash... because I'm always happy to have a card on hand for the next birthday invitation my boys get ;-)

I used the super cute new digi stamp 'Fireman Bear' by Meljen's Design and one of the stamps from the 'Party Mini Letter Seals' rubber stamp set by Raindrop Echo.

I did some paper piecing on the firemanbear's coat using a blue paper :)

The papers I used for the card are from the new 'Boyish Charm Papers' by Elise's Pieces. I love her kits and papers because she really is a master in doing 'boyish' stuff!

A little bit of distressing using Distress inks around the edges of the patterened background paper and around the circle of the focal image, then some faux stitching.. that's it.. pretty easy :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Sketches! {by tamara} 86 // Thank You

I proudly present my first card I did as a card design team member for Sketches!{by tamara} :-) This weeks sketch is just beautiful - well... but there are ALWAYS beautiful and easy to follow sketches! If you haven't yet, just hop on over >>>HERE<<< and then show us YOUR creations!

On this card I used five squares: three are stamped with flourishes and two are stamped with birds and then popped with foam dots! The flower is again punched out with my Retro flower punch, stamped with Stempelglede small grunge flower and glittered with stickles. Center of the flower is a spacer and a brad.

Ich bin sehr stolz darauf, Euch hier die erste Karte zu präsentieren die ich als Mitglied des Karten Design Teams für Sketches!{by tamara}

Thank You

I made this for a dear friend who did (and still does) wonderful things for me and some others. As she has a dog, we decided to give her a dog-collar (made by Aruby) and a bottle of good wine as a 'Thank You'
And it all had to be wrapped in self made boxes, of course ;-)

And it is also my contribution for the Dutch Dare challenge this week

*****
