Bookmark for A-Z Challenge: R is for Ribbon

Hi everyone and happy Sunday :)
I hope you are enjoying the weekend!
Today I want to share this bookmark with you that I created with my goodies that came with the Scrapbook-Werkstatt's October Kit (already sold out).
I've created it especially for our A-Z Challenge, that is running on a weekly basis over in their forums and today the "R is for Ribbon" challenge is starting (and if you can understand a little bit German, feel free to hop over and check it out :)

Happy New Year - Altered Journal

Hi everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope everyone had a great start into a wonderful new year 2012!

This is my first ever journal I created and it will definitely not be my last :-)
I really had a blast with this little project!

This is what the original hardbound journal looked like before I started creating (as I told you.. old and ugly *lol*)

And here are some pictures of my altered version :-)

Bookworm (StampARTic)

The new challenge on 'StampARTic' is 'animals'! I just downloaded the sampler of the cute 'Luvbug' kit by Mari Koegelenberg Creations and saw this cuuuute little label with the bug/caterpillar/worm(whatever?) on it. So I thought this would be perfect for a bookmark :) The label looked a bit worn and so I distressed it further more and added some faux stitching to it. This is not a usual scrap/hybrid style, but I love the result anyway ;-) Hope you like it, too :)
