Sending "Pots" of Love

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was lovely with lots of sun and time to relax :-)

Today I want to share an OLC (= one layer card) with you that I made with the stamp sets "In The Garden" and "In The Garden Additions" by SC Designs for Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

I stamped the pot with Memento in "Pottery Clay", and the heart "flowers" with Memento in "Love Letter". I then drew the stems with a Memento Marker in "New Sprout" and stamped the leave with a Memento ink pad in "New Sprout".

The sentiment was inked with Versafine in "Onyx Black" and I stamped it right over the pot :)

The lower right corner of the card was rounded with a "Corner Chomper" tool and to finish the card I put some rhinestones here and there :-)

Hello Friend (AIR Project)

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)

Today I am up with my next project as an "artist in residence" on the IMAGINE Crafts blog!

This time my project over there is featuring the new Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink AND we got to play with some of the brand new stencils from The Crafters Workshop!
It was such a  joy to create my card with all those wonderful goodies :)

Loving Thoughts Friendship Card

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)

Wow... January is almost over and Valentine's Day is approaching fast! Unbelievable how fast time flies, isn't it?

But today, I don't want to share a typical Valentine's card with you, but rather a friendship card :) 

Who wouldn't appreciate some "loving thoughts" in his/her mailbox? I think we should more often tell our friends how much they mean to us! Aren't friends (besides family) the most important people? I see, you agree :-D

So why not sending out "loving thoughts" to a dear friend... just because? :)

This card is a little bit unusual for me, because of the colors I've used! It did not come together "naturally", but I tried to follow a specific color theory I've learned in a workshop. In this workshop I was told, you can combine any tertiary colors and it will always look good. Therefore I tried and used a variety of tertiary colors on my card (yellow-green,  blue-violet, red-orange, orange-yellow ).

Well, well... I will definitely experiment a little further with these color theories I've learned... but not sure I will ever be comfortable with all of them *lol*

Instructions make card base from white cardstock (4 1/4" x 11") and round lower right corner cut strip of chevron paper (1 3/8" x 5 1/2") and adhere to left side of the card stamp flower with Memento Pear Tart onto the card front color stamped flower with Memento markers in Dandelion, Cantaloupe and Paris Dusk and highlight stamen with clear glitter pen stamp "loving thoughts" with Memento Paris Dusk onto card front cut little notch in top fold of the card (center of the patterned paper strip), thread twine through and wrap around card; tie end of twine into a bow on top of the card embellish with sequins and enamel dots Extra Tip:  Due to stamping over the raised patterned paper, the impression of the flower stamp was not too good and I had some little gaps in my stamped image! This is where a co-ordinating Memento marker comes in really handy! Because the exact same ink is in the markers like in the ink pad, you can fix these little *oopsies* (gaps in stamped impressions) really quick and easy! :)

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps: November Release - Sneak Peek Day #2

On this second sneak peek day the DT shows you projects made with an adorable stamp set called "Wallflower"!	An diesem zweiten Vorschau Tag zeigt Euch das DT Projekte mit einem weiteren tollen Stempelset, das sich "Wallflower" nennt!
I kept this card very simple (obviously ;-) ) and used two beautiful Fancy Pants papers (from their "Collecting Moments" collection) on the left side. To achieve the lovely shimmer on the sentiment, I used two "Perleascent" colors from the Brilliance ink family: Lime + Sky Blue! I simply stamped the sentiment and dots twice: first impression was made with blue and the second impression - right above the first - was done with the lime ink. I just love the effect and I hope you do, too :)	Ich hab' meine Karte sehr einfach gehalten (naja, das ist ja offensichtlich ;-) ) und habe zwei hübsche Fancy Pants Papiere (aus ihrer "Collecting Moments" Serie) verwendet. Um diesen schönen Schimmer bei dem Spruch zu erhalten, habe ich zwei verschiedene Stempelkissen aus der Brilliance "Pearlescent" Familie verwendet: Lime und Sky Blue! Ich habe den Spruch und die Punkte dann einfach zweimal abgestempelt: Das erste Mal in blau und dann noch einmal direkt darüber mit Lime. Ich mag den Effekt sehr gerne und hoffe er gefällt Euch ebenfalls :)

Chevron Cards with SBW October Kit

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch alen einen wunderschönen Mittwoch :)

Today I am sharing two cards made with the same chevron paper that comes with the kit. I love that it is so versatile and you have many options on what to do with it. Even though I decided to go with a white card base for both cards, the style is a little bit different on both cards (at least that's what *I* think ;-) )	Heute zeige ich Euch zwei Karten, die ich mit demselben Chevron Papier (aus dem Kit) gewerkelt habe. Was mir so gut gefällt ist, das es so vielseitig einsetzbar ist. Und obwohl ich mich bei beiden Karten für eine weiße Kartenbasis entschieden habe, variiert der Stil der beiden Karten doch ein wenig(zumindest empfinde *ich* das so ;-) )
I kept the first one really simple by only adding a little bit of faux stitching to the paper and then using stickers and one of the alphabet sheets that also come with the kit to create this simple "love" card. BTW: Since I did no stamping but only used ready-made embellishments, I want to enter this first card into the Moxie Fab Worlds challenge of the same name :-D	Die erste Karte habe ich wirklich sehr einfach gehalten indem ich lediglich falsche Nähte beim Papier angebracht habe und dann noch Sticker und Alpha-Sticker (beides im Kit enthalten) hinzugefügt habe um diese Liebeserklärung in Kartenform zu erstellen. Nebenbei: Da ich ja nichts gestempelt habe sondern lediglich vorgefertigte Embellies benutzt habe, möchte ich diese erste Karte gerne bei Moxie Fab Worlds Ready-Made Embellishments Challenge einreichen.
The second card is a little bit more whimsical: I cut the paper and put the upper part of it onto foam pads. I used a crinkled seam binding to create a puffy bow and added a button to the center. I then sprinkled on some rhinestones and finished the card with a stamped sentiment. I think it's a lot more playful than the first card.	Die zweite Karte ist schon weitaus verspielter: Ich habe das Papier in zwei Teile geschnitten und den oberen Teil auf 3D Pads gesetzt. Ein geknüddeltes Bändchen zu einer fluffigen Schleife gebunden und einen Knopf in die Mitte gesetzt. Außerdem noch Glitzersteine hier und da und zum Schluß noch einen Spruch gestempelt. Ich finde diese Karte sehr viel weniger "clean" und sehr viel verspielter als die Erste.

Today's card is a friendship card: "Just because" to send a message to someone who is important to you :) I have used the "Beanstalks" set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and patterned papers from Carta Bella's "Hello Again" collection (I hope you aren't tired of all my "Hello Again" projects lately .. but I really adore the patterns and colors in this collection, so I have to use it over and over again).

The big and the small beanstalks were stamped with black Versafine ink onto white cardstock, then colored with some Tombow markers and I also highlighted the infructescence with some Stickles glitter glue (but this is always so hard to catch in pictures). The beanstalks were cut out and put tiny pieces of foam pads. Then I tucked them beneath the die cut, folded and stamped banner.

Die heutige Karte ist eine Freundschaftskarte: "Einfach mal so" um jemanden der einem am Herzen liegt einen lieben Grußzu senden :) Ich habe hier das "Beanstalks" Set von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, sowie gemusterte Papiere aus Carta Bella's "Hello Again" Serie benutzt (und ich hoffe inständig Ihr seid es nicht müde all meine "Hello Again" Projekte in letzter Zeit anzuschauen ;-) aber ich mag die Muster und Farben dieser Serie wirklich sehr und darum benutze ich sie momentan auch immer und immer wieder)

Die Bohnenstängel (=beanstalks) wurden mit schwarzem Versafine auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, dann mit Tombow Markern koloriert und der Fruchtstand noch extra mit Stickles Glitter Glue hervorgehoben (aber es ist ja immer so wahnsinnig schwierig den Glitzer vernünftig im Bild festzuhalten). Dann habe ich die Stängel ausgeschnitten, sie auf klitzekleine Stückchen 3D Pads gesetzt und sie schließlich unter das bestempelte und ausgestanzte Banner gesteckt und befestigt.

Hi Friend, You Make Me Happy

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)
Today I'm sharing a non CAS (and non stamped) card with you! Well, at least it's not what you would call "clean" but a little bit shabby instead - but it is still what I would call simple *lol*

I have created this card using the new and brand new August Kit from Scrapbook-Werkstatt (will be available as of July 26th). This kit is a little bit more "Vintage" inspired, but as you will see in my next posts over the next few days, it's also great to create CAS creations with it, anyway!!! ;-)

Everything on this card (except for the seam binding) comes with the kit:
 - the patterned papers,
- the doily,
- the sequins,
- the button
and
- the stickers!
It is -again- a beautiful kit with lots of wonderful goodies in it. I'm sure you will enjoy it (as always, it will be available as of July 26th) in their online store.

Heute zeige ich Euch mal eine Nicht-CAS (und außerdem auch nicht gestempelte) Karte! Naja, zumindest ist sie nicht "clean" sondern eher ein bisschen shabby - aber als "simple" (also einfach) würde ich sie dennoch bezeichnen *lol*

Ich habe die Karte mit dem brandneuen August Kit der Scrapbook-Werkstatt "Sommerromanze" erstellt (das Kit ist ab dem 26. Juli erhältlich). Dieses Kit ist zwar eher ein bisschen "Vintage" mäßig angehaucht, aber wie Ihr in meinen nächsten Posts über die nächsten paar Tage feststellen werdet, kann man es trotzdem auch hervorragend dazu benutzen CAS Werke damit zu machen!!! ;-)

Alles auf dieser Karte kommt aus dem Kit (außer dem grünen Band):
- die gemusterten Papiere,
- das Spitzendeckchen,
- die Pailletten,
- der Knopf
und
- die Sticker!
Es ist -wieder mal- ein wirklich super geniales Kit mit wahnsinnig vielen tollen Sachen darin. Ich bin mir ganz sicher, das es Euch super gefallen wird (und wie immer ist es ab dem 26.Juli im Online Shop verfügbar)

Friends Like You Are Priceless

 

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)

Here's the next card made with the new July Kit from Scrapbook Werkstatt.

The new kits (there is not only the monthly main kit but also additional paper kits) will be available as of June 26th (Wednesday)!
This card is truly simple to make!
I stamped the sentiment (Whimsy Stamps) in Versamark ink onto the lower left edge of the patterned paper (MME) and white embossed it. Then I wrapped a wide white satin ribbon around the upper third of the card and tied it into a bow. The button and twine I used to dress up the ribbon is also part of the kit.

Und hier kommt auch schon die nächste Karte die mit dem neuen Scrapbook Werkstatt Juli Kit entstanden ist.
Die neuen Kits (es gibt nicht nur ein monatliches Haupt Kit, sondern auch noch zusätzliche Papier Kits) werden ab dem 26. Juni (also am morgigen Mittwoch) erhältlich sein!

Diese Karte ist wirklich sehr einfach nachzumachen!
Ich habe lediglich den Spruch (Whimsy Stamps) mit Versamark auf die linke untere Seite des gemusterten Papiers (MME) gestempelt und weiß embossed. Dann habe ich ein breites Satin Band um das obere Drittel der Karte gelegt und eine Schleife gebunden. Knopf und Twine, mit dem ich die Schleife noch ein bisschen aufgepimpt habe, sind im Kit enthalten.

Friend - You're Special

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)
Today I'm sharing a card that I've made by following a sketch from Kristina Werner (for Online Card Classes Clean and Simple Cardmaking 2). I've stamped the word "friend" with bordeaux ink onto the white card base, then partly die cut a circle from patterned paper to create a "window". The "you're special" words are stamped twice (once with bordeaux and then a second time with black), then I cut it to create a banner. I've added some faux stitching around all edges and also put some lilac pearls onto some of the flower centers to finish the card.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte nach einem Sketch von  Kristina Werner  (für Online Card Classes Clean and Simple Cardmaking 2).

Ich habe dann noch um alle Ränder Faux Stitching hinzugefügt und außerdem noch einige lila Perlchen in einige der Blütenmitten gesetzt um die Karte abzurunden.

Hello Friend

Hi everyone and happy Sunday :-)

I hope you enjoy the weekend with friends and family and maybe some crafting ;-)  

Today I want to show you a card that I made with papers in colors that are normally way out of my comfort zone! But since Mireia and Tina from Scrapbook Werkstatt sent me these beautiful 'Ambrosia' Bo Bunny papers directly 'hot off the press' ;) from CHA, of course took the challenge and started creating.
And I admit: I am really pleased with the result (to my own surprise *lol*) and I hope you are, too. And maybe you feel inspired and try something out of your own comfort zone yourself!? That would be great :)

Ich hoffe Ihr habt ein tolles Wochenende und genießt es mit Freunden und Familie und vielleicht auch mit ein wenig Bastelzeit ;-)

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, die ich mit Papieren gemacht habe, deren Farbe normalerweise wirklich so gar nicht meinem Stil entspricht. Ich wäre wohl nicht auf die Idee gekommen mit diesen Farben zu arbeiten. Aber da ich diese schönen Papiere aus der brandneuen und direkt von der CHA kommenden 'Ambrosia' Kollektion von Bo Bunny von Mireia und Tina, den Inhaberinnen der Scrapbook Werkstatt zugesandt bekommen habe, habe ich mich der Herausforderung gestellt und eine Karte damit gemacht.

Und ich geb's zu: Zu meiner eigenen Verwunderung bin ich eigentlich recht zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis und ich hoffe Euch gefällt es auch! Und vielleicht habe ich Euch sogar inspiriert Eurerseits einfach mal was auszuprobieren, was  im Normalfall nicht unbedingt tun oder nutzen würdet?! Das fände ich richtig klasse :-)

Today I want to share this simple friendship card I created for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge where they want to see projects with kraft and twine this time.

To create this card I  used up some scraps from my Pink Paislee Nantucket 6x6 paper pad
I punched out hearts in different sizes and then sewed them together. One of the hearts was put on dimensional adhesive tape
