Today I am sharing a card where I used up some products from my stash: 

• left over pieces of Carta Bella papers, 
• a stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps,
• a sticker from Websters Pages and 
• some twine from Garn&Mehr.

All color media (inks and texture spray) are from Imagine Crafts / Tsukineko!

Instructions make 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card from white cardstock and round lower right corner cut patterned papers into banner strips and adhere to card front thread twine through tag sticker and affix to card front using foam tape ink sentiment stamp with three colors (Memento Love Letter, New Sprout and Dandelion) and stamp onto card front pierce wholes underneath part of the sentiment splatter some irRESISTible texture spray in New Sprout all over the card embellish with rhinestones

I am so excited to be part of this months blog hop with IMAGINE Crafts + Clear Scraps!

For this mini album -which I will complete with photos after Summer holidays- I decorated a "6x6 Tab Album" from Clear Scraps.

The white swirls DON'T come with the clear album, but I stamped them with Cotton White StazOn, which is the perfect choice to stamp on acrylic (and all other non-porous) surface!

I distressed all edges of the design paper panels with Memento inks and created a frame for the circle paper on page 2 with irRESISTible Pico Embellisher Gold

Baby Card

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch allen einen wunderschönen Montag :)
Recently, I submitted some cards for a magazine call but they did not pick any of them. The good thing about this is, that after submitting and being rejected, I have some more cards that I can show you here on my blog :-)	Ich habe kürzlich ein paar Karten für einen Magazin "Call" gemacht aber keine der Karten wurde genommen. Das Gute an der Sache ist, das nach solchen Bewerbungsaktionen natürlich immer viele Karten da sind, die ich Euch dann hier auf meinem Blog zeigen kann :-)
So, here is one of those cards I submitted. They asked for baby cards with polka dots and I created this clean and simple card using stamps from Lawn Fawn. The baby pouch was paper pieced, the crown and stork were stamped, colored and fussy cut - then put on dimensional foam pads.	Also kann ich Euch hier nun eine der Karten zeigen, die ich eingesendet hatte. Es wurde hier nach Baby Karten in Kombination mit Punkten gefragt und ich hatte diese CAS (=clean and simple) Karte gemacht. Alle verwendeten Stempel sind von Lawn Fawn. Der Baby Beutel wurde ge-paper-pieced (was für eine Wortschöpfung *lol* - soll eigentlich nur heißen, das er auf Papier gestempelt und anschließend ausgeschnitten wurde *grins*), die Krone und der Storch wurden coloriert, konturengenau ausgeschnitten und dann auf 3D Pads gesetzt.

Hi everyone and happy Thursday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch allen einen wunderschönen Donnerstag :)
Todays card is -once again *ahem- made with papers and stickers from Carta Bellas "Hello Again" collection. And: nope, I am not affiliated with Carta Bella ( too bad ;-) ) but I just love these papers so much that I am using them over and over again :) The sentiment is from the adorable "Wonderful Words" set by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!	Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, für die ich nochmal *räusper* Papier und Sticker aus Carta Bellas "Hello Again" Serie benutzt habe. Und: Nein, ich bin nicht mit Carta Bella verbandelt (sehr schade *grins*) aber mir gefallen die Papiere so ausnehmend gut, das ich sie halt ständig benutze :) Außerdem zum Einsatz gekommen ist hier einer der hübschen Stempel aus dem "Wonderful Words" Set von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!
I cut apart the (huge) flower sticker and then I took away the stickiness by dabbing it a few times onto my jeans. Then I put the flowers onto some dimensional foam adhesive	Der Blumensticker ist eigentlich ein ziemlich großer und ich habe den einfach auseinander geschnitten, so das es für meine Karte eben gut gepasst hat. Ich habe dann dafür gesorgt, das der Sticker nicht mehr so klebrig ist, indem ich ihn mehrfach auf meine Jeans "geklebt" habe.. irgendwann hört das kleben auf ;-) Und dann habe ich die Blümchen mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt.
The sentiment was stamped in three parts. "You" in black, then "totally" in pink and the rest of the stamp was then inked and stamped with black again.	Den Spruch habe ich in drei Schritten gestempelt: erst das "You" in schwarz, dann "totally" in pink und zum Schluss noch den Rest ebenfalls in schwarz.

Today I have a super simple card to share. I've made this for this weeks "sketch challenge" at Splitcoaststampers where Korin Sutherland provided a great (clean, simple, versatile) sketch to play with :)

Just hop on over to the forums to see the sketch - and the entries. And maybe you want to play along? That would be great! :)

I have used the larger one in the "Bubble Labels Fri-Dies" set and a sentiment from "Mums the Word" set by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, Hero Arts shadow inks (*love* these inks!), patterned papers from Carta Bella's "Hello Again" collection and some enamel dots. I've added some faux stitching to the patterned paper panel and put the sentiment label on foam pads.

Heute zeige ich Euch mal wieder eine super einfache Karte. Die ist für die "Sketch Challenge" bei den Splitcoaststampers entstanden, wo Korin Sutherland einen wirklich tollen Sketch (clean, simple, und sehr variabel zu verwenden) bereit gestellt hat :)

Schaut doch einfach mal im Forum vorbei um den Sketch, sowie die Beiträge anzuschauen - und vielleicht macht Ihr ja auch einfach selbst mit? Das wäre echt klasse! :)

Ich habe hier die größere Stanze aus dem "Bubble Lables Fri-Dies" Set, sowie einen Spruch aus dem "Mums the Word" Set von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, Hero Arts Shadow Stempelkissen (ich *liebe* diese Stempelfarben!), gemustertes Papier aus der "Hello Again" Serie von Carta Bella, sowie ein paar Enamel Dots verwendet. Rund um das gemusterte Papier noch falsche Nähte gemacht und das gestanzte Label auf 3D Pads gesetzt und das war's auch schon.

You Are Terrific

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for this weeks Mojo Monday #309 challenge.

I have to admit that it was difficult for me to follow the sketch and to be honest, I am not quite sure if I really like the result. But anyway, here it is :-D

Once again I have used patterned papers from Carta Bella's "Hello Again" collection ;-)

I distressed all edges of the patterned papers (except for the banner in the middle) with Distress Walnut Stain inks, then added some faux stitching. The die cut flower shapes were put on dimensional foam pads.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, die für Challenge #309 bei Mojo Monday entstanden ist.

Ich muss ehrlich gestehen, das ich es sehr schwierig fand den Sketch umzusetzen. Und um der Wahrheit die Ehre zu geben, bin ich mir auch echt nicht sicher ob mir das Resultat gefällt. Naja, wie auch immer, ich zeig's Euch trotzdem :-D

Ich habe hier alle Ränder mit Distress Walnut Stain gewischt - mit Ausnahme des Banners in der Mitte - und dazu noch überall rundum falsche Nähte gemacht.

Und wieder mal habe ich Papiere aus Carta Bella's "Hello Again" Serie verwendet ;-)

May Your Every Dream Come True

Wow, it's the first of September! Only three months, three weeks and three days left until Christmas ;-)

Time to do some more bright, cheerful cards before Summer is definitely over :-)

Today I want to share a card that I made for the challenge at Seize the Sketch. They not only have a great sketch to play with, but also an awesome sponsor for the actual challenge: CAS-ual Fridays Stamps :-)

I did not use a banner on my card, like it was intended on the upper left side of the sketch, but I replaced it with an "arrow" that I created myself from cut out chevron strips of patterned papers (all patterned papers are from Carta Bella's "Hello Again" collection).  

The stamped sentiment is from the "Wonderful Words" set by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and I used three different Hero Arts ink pads to create this gradient look.

Wow, heute ist schon der 1. September und nun sind es nur noch drei Monate, drei Wochen und drei Tage bis Weihnachten ;-) Höchste Zeit also um nochmal ein paar helle, freundliche, sonnige Karten zu machen, bevor der Sommer dann wirklich endgültig vorbei ist :-)

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, die ich für die Seize the Sketch Challenge gemacht habe. Sie haben dort nicht nur einen tollen Sketch für Euch, sondern auch einen genialen Sponsoren, nämlich CAS-ual Fridays Stamps :)

Für meine Karte habe ich das Banner, welches im Sketch oben links vorgesehen war durch einen "Pfeil" ersetzt, den ich aus ein paar als "Chevron" zugeschnittene Stückchen Papier selbst gemahct habe (alle gemusterten Papiere sind übrigens wieder aus Carta Bella's "Hello Again" Serie). 

Der Spruch ist aus dem "Wonderful Words" Set von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps und ich habe drei verschiedene Hero Arts Stempelkissen dafür benutzt um den Farbverlauf zu erzeugen.

Today I have a bright and sunny card to share!

I made this one for the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World. 
Obviously, I did not use the lavender shades from the trigger photo ;-) and I also did not use stripes. But the patterned paper on the left side of my card has such a lovely gradient (ombre) color in the background, so I thought it would be perfect for this challenge. Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch that lovely ombre effect properly in my photo :-/

I also was inspired by the butterfly that sits on top of the cake - so I added some butterflies to my card, too :)

I did something new (to me) on this card: I stamped the bold butterflies in yellow inks and cut them out.

Then I noticed, that the yellow was way too bright for the patterned paper. So I did some coloring over the inks with a muted orange Tombow marker, to match the colors in the patterned papers.

Wasn't sure at the beginning if this will work, but I am really pleased with the result :)
Not sure if you can see it in the picture, but the small yellow-orange strip of patterned paper was put on teeny tiny bits of dimensional foam pads for a little more interest.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine helle und sonnige Karte!

Die habe ich für die Tuesday Trigger Inspirations Challenge auf Moxie Fab World gemacht. 
Es ist offensichtlich das ich hier nicht das Lila aus dem Trigger Foto übernommen habe ;-) Auch habe ich keine Streifen auf meiner Karte. Aber das gemusterte Papier auf der linken Seite hat einen wunderschönen Farbverlauf (Ombre) im Hintergrund. Ich fand, das es einfach perfekt zum Inspirationsfoto passt. Leider war ich nicht in der Lage den wirklich hübschen Ombre Effekt in meinem Foto naturgetreu wieder zu geben :-/

Zudem hat mich der Schmetterling inspiriert, der da so oben auf der Torte thronte - also habe ich ebenfalls Schmetterlinge auf meiner Karte :)

Ich habe hier etwas ganz Neues ausprobiert: Ich habe nämlich die Schmetterlinge zuerst mit gelber Stempelfarbe abgedrückt und sie dann ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich aber festgestellt, dass das gelb viel zu hell war und gar nicht zum gemusterten Papier gepasst hat. Also habe ich einfach einen leicht orangefarbenen Tombow Stift genommen und über die Stempelfarbe drüber koloriert um die Farben anzupassen.

Ich war im Vorfeld wirklich unsicher, ab das wohl funktionieren würde, aber nun bin ich doch recht zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis :)
Ich bin nicht sicher, ob man es auf dem Foto gut erkennen kann, aber den schmalen gelb-orange Streifen gemustertes Papier habe ich auf klitzekleine Stückchen 3D Pads gesetzt.

For my card I did some heat embossing, paper piecing and faux stitching! All three techniques, I totally love, on just one card *yay* ;-)

(und speziell an Vanessa, Daphne und Marjan: ja, ich geb's gerne zu.. .Embossing gehörte nicht immer zu meine Lieblingstechniken *grins*.. Dank Euch aber mittlerweile sehr wohl! :) )

Today I am sharing a Birthday card with you - again made from the adorable Carta Bella "Hello Again" papers and a stamp from the "Mums the Word" set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

As so often, I decided to do some faux stitching around the patterned paper panels ;-)

The sentiment was stamped with white Hero Arts inks and then heat embossed with white embossing powder to make sure, the sentiment will be really white in the end, so it will be really able to stand out against the busy patterned paper in the background.

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Geburtstagskarte - wieder mit den hübschen Papieren aus Carta Bella's "Hello Again" Serie gewerkelt, sowie einem Stempel aus dem "Mums the Word" Set von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

Wie so oft habe ich auch hier wieder falsche Nähte rund um alle gemusterten Papiere gemacht ;-)

Den Spruch habe ich zunächst mit einem weißen Hero Arts Kissen gestempelt und anschließend dann auch noch mit weißem Pulver embosst, damit er sich tatsächlich auch so richtig abhebt von dem doch eher unruhigen Hintergrundmuster.

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)

Today's card is a friendship card: "Just because" to send a message to someone who is important to you :) I have used the "Beanstalks" set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and patterned papers from Carta Bella's "Hello Again" collection (I hope you aren't tired of all my "Hello Again" projects lately .. but I really adore the patterns and colors in this collection, so I have to use it over and over again).

The big and the small beanstalks were stamped with black Versafine ink onto white cardstock, then colored with some Tombow markers and I also highlighted the infructescence with some Stickles glitter glue (but this is always so hard to catch in pictures). The beanstalks were cut out and put tiny pieces of foam pads. Then I tucked them beneath the die cut, folded and stamped banner.

Die heutige Karte ist eine Freundschaftskarte: "Einfach mal so" um jemanden der einem am Herzen liegt einen lieben Grußzu senden :) Ich habe hier das "Beanstalks" Set von CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, sowie gemusterte Papiere aus Carta Bella's "Hello Again" Serie benutzt (und ich hoffe inständig Ihr seid es nicht müde all meine "Hello Again" Projekte in letzter Zeit anzuschauen ;-) aber ich mag die Muster und Farben dieser Serie wirklich sehr und darum benutze ich sie momentan auch immer und immer wieder)

Die Bohnenstängel (=beanstalks) wurden mit schwarzem Versafine auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, dann mit Tombow Markern koloriert und der Fruchtstand noch extra mit Stickles Glitter Glue hervorgehoben (aber es ist ja immer so wahnsinnig schwierig den Glitzer vernünftig im Bild festzuhalten). Dann habe ich die Stängel ausgeschnitten, sie auf klitzekleine Stückchen 3D Pads gesetzt und sie schließlich unter das bestempelte und ausgestanzte Banner gesteckt und befestigt.
