"Bundle of Joy" Baby Card for CAS-ual Fridays #119

Hi everyone and happy Friday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch allen einen wunderschönen Freitag :)
It's time for the next CAS-ual Fridays challenge *woot* and our theme for the next two weeks is	Es ist wieder Zeit für die nächste CAS-ual Fridays Challenge und das Thema der nächsten Woche lautet

Create a clean and simple project using embossing (heat or dry)	Zeigt uns ein clean and simple Projekt mit Embossing (egal ob dry oder heat embossing)
I embossed the background with a chevron folder, die cut the Fancy Round Tag Fri-Dies from white cardstock and added some twine + bling. The baby carriage (Lawn Fawn) was stamped with black Versafine ink onto a piece of patterned paper from Studio Calico's "Story Time" collection. I then cut it out trimming closely and added some highlights with a white gel pen. I stamped the saying onto the same patterned paper and cut it into a little banner that I put on dimensional foam pads.	Ich habe den Hintergrund mit einem Chevron Folder embossed. Dann aus weißem Cardstock das runde Tag ausgestanzt mithilfe der Fancy Round Tag Fri-Dies. Dazu noch ein bisschen Twine und *bling bling* :-D Den Kinderwagen (Lawn Fawn) habe ich mit schwarzem Versafine Kissen auf gemustertes Papier von Studio Calico ("Story Time" Serie) gestempelt und konturen genau ausgeschnitten. Dann noch ein paar Highlights mit weißem Gelstift hier und da gemalt. Der Spruch wurde auf dasselbe Papier gestempelt und dieses dann in Form eines kleinen Banner ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Pads befestigt.

I usually don't post twice a day, but in this special case I cannot wait any longer to post this card I made today, because it is an entry for Seize the Sketch and the challenge is closing in a few hours ;-)	Normalerweise poste ich ja nicht zweimal an einem Tag, aber in diesem speziellen Fall blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, dann diese Karte ist für die Seize the Sketch Challenge und die endet in ein paar Stunden ;-)

I did not follow the sketch 100%, but it definitely was my inspiration. I changed a few things (like the rectangle going beneath instead of over the flag) and I addes some more elements. I am not sure it is eligible to be an entry for the challenge, although, but hope so :-)	Ich habe mich nicht 100%ig daran gehalten, aber es war definitiv der Ausgangspunkt für meine Karte! Ich habe ein paar Kleinigkeiten geändert (z.B. das große Rechteck unter das Banner, anstatt darüber) und ich habe ein paar Elemente hinzugefügt. Ich bin also nicht ganz sicher, ob das hier überhaupt ein "gültiger" Beitrag für die Challenge ist, aber ich hoffe es mal :-)

Challenges Seize the Sketch #6

Baby Card

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)	Hallo zusammen und Euch allen einen wunderschönen Montag :)
Recently, I submitted some cards for a magazine call but they did not pick any of them. The good thing about this is, that after submitting and being rejected, I have some more cards that I can show you here on my blog :-)	Ich habe kürzlich ein paar Karten für einen Magazin "Call" gemacht aber keine der Karten wurde genommen. Das Gute an der Sache ist, das nach solchen Bewerbungsaktionen natürlich immer viele Karten da sind, die ich Euch dann hier auf meinem Blog zeigen kann :-)
So, here is one of those cards I submitted. They asked for baby cards with polka dots and I created this clean and simple card using stamps from Lawn Fawn. The baby pouch was paper pieced, the crown and stork were stamped, colored and fussy cut - then put on dimensional foam pads.	Also kann ich Euch hier nun eine der Karten zeigen, die ich eingesendet hatte. Es wurde hier nach Baby Karten in Kombination mit Punkten gefragt und ich hatte diese CAS (=clean and simple) Karte gemacht. Alle verwendeten Stempel sind von Lawn Fawn. Der Baby Beutel wurde ge-paper-pieced (was für eine Wortschöpfung *lol* - soll eigentlich nur heißen, das er auf Papier gestempelt und anschließend ausgeschnitten wurde *grins*), die Krone und der Storch wurden coloriert, konturengenau ausgeschnitten und dann auf 3D Pads gesetzt.

Heute möchte ich Euch ein Scrapbooking Layout zeigen. Dazu gibt's außerdem ein kurzes Video indem ich Euch zeige, wie ich es gemacht habe.

This was my second round entry for the Spellbinders DT contest.
I scrapped pictures of my oldest son Daniel when he was 1 year old.
Daniel recently turned 21(!!!) 
Oh my goodness...... am I really so old? *eek*

Nun aber zurück zu meinem Scrapbook Layout:
Es handelt sich hierbei um meinen Beitrag für Runde 2 im Spellbinders DT Contest.
Ich habe hier Fotos meines ältesten Sohnes Daniel verscrappt.
Damals war er gerade ein Jahr alt und kürzlich hat er seinen 21.(!!!) Geburtstag gefeiert!!!
Ach Du  meine Güte... bin ich wirklich schon so alt? *ojeojeoje*

Hippo Hooray

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)
Today I share this card with you that I've created for a fellow worker who recently became a mommy to a super cute and adorable baby girl.
I used an unusual format for this (it's 3x6''), because we give it to her personally and there are 10 people who wants to subscribe the card :)
I just couldn't resist and had to use the adorable and soft patterned papers from Lily Bee Design's "Handmade" collection as well as some Paper Smooches stamps again.
The hippo was stamped onto a soft grey polka dot paper, then cut out trimming closely around the outlines. I then colored parts of it with some Tombow Dual Brush pens. Put the cutie on some dimensional foam adhesive, so there's a little bit more dimension and interest on this card.
The white rectangle behind the hippo was paper pierced all around - hope you can see it in the pictures.
Of course I had to break out my beloved Spellbinders dies plus the Grand Calibur to cut out the laces circle to put the hippo onto.
I hope my fellow worker will like the card - and you, my readers, too :)

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, die ich für eine ganz liebe Arbeitskollegin gemacht habe, die kürzlich Mama einer wunderhübschen und niedlichen kleinen Tochter geworden ist.
Ich habe ein eher ungewöhnliches Format gewählt (3x6 Inches), weil wir die Karte persönlich übergeben und ja auch noch 10 Leute unterschreiben wollen :)
Ich konnte nicht widerstehen und musste nochmal die wunderbaren und sanften gemusterten Papiere von Lily Bee Design's "Handmade" Kollektion benutzen, ebenso noch einmal ein paar Paper Smooches Stempel.
Den Hippo habe ich auf grau gemustertem Polka Dot Papier gestempelt und dann konturen genau ausgeschnitten. Außerdem habe ich anschließend noch Teile mit Tombow Dual Brush pens koloriert. Das Schnuckelchen hab' ich dann auf 3D Pads gesetzt, um dem Ganzen ein wenig mehr Tiefe zu geben und es etwas interessanter zu gestalten.
Das weiße Rechteck hinter dem Hippo habe ich ringsum ge-paperpierced (wie heißt das deutsche Wort dafür? gibt es überhaupt eines? naja, ich hab' halt ringsum Löcher rein gepiekt, so das es aussieht wie genäht, nur ohne Nähfaden ;) )
Und natürlich musste ich auch mal wieder meine geliebten Spellbinders Stanzen und die Grand Calibur  raus holen um den Kreis hinter dem Hippo zu stanzen.
Ich hoffe der Kollegin gefällt die Karte - und Euch auch :)

Sweet Baby Girl

This one was really quick and easy to make and since I made my own sentiment it could be used for baby shower invitations, too (great for mass production)

It's a... Boy!

Hi my sweet blogging friends and happy Tuesay :-)

My eye infection isn't getting any better yet and sometimes it's only haze I see   :-(
I hope the antibiotics will help and let it get better, today!

But anyway, I have another card to show you :-D
I created this New Baby card using papers from My Minds Eye 'Alphabet Soup' kit and die cuts from Jillibean Soup's 'Spotted Owl Soup'. The stamps are from a 'Baby' set of See D's (that are no longer available).

I want to enter this card into the current challenge at ...Wee Memories...
and also into Papertake Weekly where this week 'anything goes' :)
