AIR Project: With Sympathy

Instructions create top folded 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card from 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" white cardstock cut 5 1/4" x 4" black cardstock and adhere to card front stamp blossom branches ("Casual Comfort" stamp set) with Delicata Silvery Shimmer onto 3 3/4 x 7 7/8" white cardstock stamp "with sympathy" ("Casual Comfort" stamp set) in Memento Luxe Pear Tart into lower right corner of white panel create a pierced border around the white panel by using a paper piercing tool mount to card front using foam tape embellish with rhinestones

Supplies stamps - CAS-ual Fridays Stamps: "Casual Comfort inks - IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko: Memento Luxe Pear Tart; Delicata Silvery Shimmer tools - paper piercing tool others - white cardstock; American Crafts: black cardstock; Kaisercraft: clear rhinestones; dimensional foam tape

Sympathy Card

Hi everyone and happy Friday :-)

Today I want to show you a Sympathy card. 
For me (and I think for most of us), Sympathy cards are always difficult to make.
But this one came together of its own volition.

I stamped the flowers (Penny Black) with silver acrylic paint on the die cut picot edge circle (Spellbinders) of black cardstock and the silver acrylic paint really gives it such a nice shimmer - hope you can see it in the pictures

 

card recipe:

• stamps - Penny Black
• cardstock - American Crafts (black), Clairefontaine (white)
• dies - Spellbinders Picot Edge Circles
• other supplies - Sew Sweet white crinkled seam binding, Kaisercraft silver pearl brad, silver acrylic paint, foam tape from stash 

challenges:

• Anything Goes #58 (anything goes)
• Crazy Challenge #101 (lace and/or pearls) - only one huge pearl, no lace.. but hope it's ok ;)
• Deep Ocean Challenge #16 (lots of white)
