EAC 53: You are Stinkin' Cute

Boy.. I'm much too late for my EAC DT spot this week but wanted to show you a card following the beautiful sketch by Domi, although! So don't miss it (like I nearly did), but create a card following Domis great sketch, leave us a comment over at Everybody Art Challenge and let's see what you came up with :)
I used the cuuuuuuuute 'Whimsy Giraffe' stamp by Whimsy Stamps for this card and one of the 'Silly Sayings' of the Whimsy Sentiments Collection. I love these cute and whimsical stamps of this company! Note to self: Use them more often! ;-)

Och mensch.. ich bin viel zu spät dran für meine DT Aufgabe eine Karte für die Challenge dieser Woche bei EAC abzuliefern. Aber ich wollte Euch dennoch eine Karte zeigen, die ich nach dem super Sketch von Domi gemacht habe! Also .. nicht verpassen (so wie es mir hier beinahe ergangen wäre), sondern eine Karte nach Domis Sketch basteln und dann drüben bei Everybody Art Challenge einen Kommentar hinterlassen damit wir sehen können, was Ihr gezaubert habt :)

Sugar Bowl // Mari Koegelenberg CT

Wow... I did not manage to take part at the Sugar Bowl for ages :( But today I thought I just HAVE TO do something with this easy but beautiful sketch by Gayle :) So here's my try...
I used the 'Planting Some Love' stamp designed by Elisabeth Bell and the gorgeous 'Luvbug' kit designed by Mari Koegelenberg to create my card.

Christmas in July ;-)

Sorry for beeing not much around lately, but I'm not feeling too good...
But I managed to create this Santa card for the Papertake Weekly challenge who have a great sketch to follow this week :)
I used one of my 'new' (oh my.. I have it for ages but never inked it up *blush*) Sugar Nellie Santa stamp and papers from the brand new wonderful christmas kit 'Holiday Cheer' by Wendy (wm[squared] Designs]. What you can't see in this picture is the great amount of glitter all over Santas clothes... I used a Sakura glitter pen to make it glitter.. but I couldn't get it in the picture (it's raining cats and dogs over here *mpf*)

Sorry, das ich mich in letzter Zeit ein wenig rar gemacht habe, aber es geht mir zur Zeit nicht sonderlich gut...
Aber ich habe es trotzdem geschafft diese Weihnachtsmann Karte für den Papertake Weekly Challenge zu gestalten. Dort gibt es diese Woche einen schönen Sketch :) Ich habe einen meiner 'neuen' (also eigentlich hab' ich den schon seit ewigen Zeiten, habe ihn aber noch nie abgestempelt *rot werd*) Sugar Nellie Stempel (Weihnachtsmann) und das brandneue und wunderschöne Weihnachts Kit 'Holiday Cheer' von Wendy (wm[squared] Designs) benutzt. Was man leider hier im Bild nicht sehen kann ist die riesige Menge an Glitzer, die da überall auf Santas Sachen drauf sind... ich habe dafür meinen Sakura Glitzerstift benutzt.. aber ich konnte es leider nicht im Bild festhalten (es regnet hier junge Hunde *hmpf*)

SASSC17 / Sugar Nellie GDT

I'm totally in love with the new range of Leanne Ellis stamps (Sugar Nellie). And when I saw the sketch over at 'The Fresh Batch' this card immediately came to my mind. I thought this image needs a darker background and so I have been searching for the right paper. As I could not find one that matched I created my 'own' dp using a digi kit from 'A Work In Progress'. I created the flower on the upper left side using a clear Maya Road flower shape, colouring it with AAIs and then stamped the 'French Script' bg from SU! with white StazOn. I love how it turned out...
The star on the right side is a clear shape (by Heidi Swapp), coloured with stream AAIs, too :)
Coloured the image with Tombow markers and put it onto pop dots to give it more interest.

Ich bin zur Zeit total verliebt in die neuen Leanne Ellis Stempel (Sugar Nellie). Und als ich den Sketch bei 'The Fresh Batch' gesehen habe, kam mir wirklich sofort diese Karte hier in den Sinn. Ich dachte mir das zu diesem Motiv ein dunklerer Hintergrund passen müsste und so habe ich meine Papiere durchsucht. Nachdem ich aber nichts Passendes finden konnte habe ich dann schliesslich mein "eigenes" Design Papier hergestellt mit Hilfe eines Digi Kits von 'A Work In Progress'. Die Blume oben links habe ich mit einer klaren Blumenform von Maya Road gestaltet, indem ich sie zuerst mit AAIs in 'Stream' koloriert habe und anschliessend den 'Frensh Script' Hintergrund mit weissem StazOn aufgestempelt hatte. Der Stern rechts wurde ebenfalls mit so einer klaren Form (Heidi Swapp) und AAIs hergestellt. Ich habe das Motiv mit Tombows koloriert und es dann auf 3D Pads gesetzt um das ganze noch mehr in den Vordergrund zu rücken.

Ich habe einen meiner neuen, heissgeliebten Stempel von Leanne Ellis (Sugar Nellie) benutzt. Ich bin total verliebt in diese neuen -ein bisschen mehr 'artsy' angehauchten- Motive die Leanne designed hat! Und ich habe ein paar Papiere und ein Element von Amy Sumralls Digi Kits benutzt! Ich finde ihre Kits einfach WUNDERVOLL und bin darum auch total stolz, das sie mich ausgewählt hat in ihrem Kreativteam (CT) mitzumachen *jipppiiieee* - DANKE Amy :)

EAC DT // Sugar Nellie Guest DT

Tuesday morning - time for another challenge over at Everybody Art Challenge :) This week we want you to show us cards or projects using a 3d image. I used one of my newly arrived Leanne Ellis stamps and cut out the 1) the image 2) the face with hair and hat 3) the hat. Then coloured all cut outs and mounted with foam tape. What you can't see on the pic is the subtle shimmer on the metal frame and on her hair.. but well... just use your imagination ;-)

Dienstag Morgen - Zeit für eine neue Herausforderung bei Everybody Art Challenge :) Diese Woche möchten wir das Ihr uns Karten oder Projekte mit 3D Motiven zeigt. Ich habe hier einen meiner neu eingetroffenen Leanne Ellis Stempel benutzt und folgendes ausgeschnitten: 1) das ganze Motiv an sich 2) das Gesicht mit Haaren und Hut 3) nur den Hut. Dann habe ich alle Teile coloriert und mit 3D Pads übereinander montiert. Was man leider auf dem Bild hier nicht sehen kann ist der leichte Schimmer auf dem Metall Rahmen und auf ihrem Haar.. aber naja.. müsst Ihr einfach Eure Fantasie spielen lassen ;-)
