Birthday Card For a Little Fireman

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)

As some of you may know, I'm a mother to four boys .. the two 'little' ones are aged 6 and 8 and so I am in need of many birthday cards for boys (because they are invited to other little boys birthday partys a lot *smile*)

Soooo .. here's one more for my (actually not existing *g*) stash... because I'm always happy to have a card on hand for the next birthday invitation my boys get ;-)

I used the super cute new digi stamp 'Fireman Bear' by Meljen's Design and one of the stamps from the 'Party Mini Letter Seals' rubber stamp set by Raindrop Echo.

I did some paper piecing on the firemanbear's coat using a blue paper :)

The papers I used for the card are from the new 'Boyish Charm Papers' by Elise's Pieces. I love her kits and papers because she really is a master in doing 'boyish' stuff! 

A little bit of distressing using Distress inks around the edges of the patterened background paper and around the circle of the focal image, then some faux stitching.. that's it.. pretty easy :)

Cookie Bear - Scrap Online Challenge #1

Here's another little sneak peek of one of the cute stamps by Doodle Palace (soon to be released.. so check back there from time to time not to miss this :) )
I was in need of a birthday card for a little six year old girl where my son Aaron is invited and thought this cutie is just perfect for a children birthday card (well.. Aaron LOVES it! *lol* - and I love the fresh colors of these gorgeous digital papers from Amy Sumrall! The kit is called 'fun wow!' and I think this is really the perfect name for it :) ) For the layout I used the gorgeous sketch from challenge #1 at Scrap Online Challenges' (I hope I will manage to participate next week 'live'!)

Hier ist wieder ein kleiner Vorgeschmack auf einen der niedlichen Stempel von Doodle Palace (er wird bald erhältlich sein also ab und an mal dort vorbei schauen um es nicht zu verpassen :) )
Ich brauchte eine Geburtstagskarte für ein sechs Jahre altes Mädchen bei dem mein Sohn Aaron eingeladen ist und dachte mir dieser niedliche kleine Kerl (der Bär) ist doch eigentlich perfekt für eine Kinder-Geburtstagskarte (naja.. zumindest Aaron ist ganz verliebt in sie *lach* - und ich selbst liebe die frischen Farben dieser wundervollen digitalen Papiere von Amy Sumrall! Das Kit heisst 'fun wow!' und ich finde das passt perfekt :) ) Für das Layout habe ich den wundervollen Sketch von Challenge Nr.1 bei Scrap Online Challenges' benutzt (ich hoffe ich schaffe es nächste Woche dann auch "live" dabeizusein!)

Doodle Palace DT: Elephants (CCT 60)

I played with this gorgeous and sooo cute digi stamp 'Eli and Emily the Elephants' from Doodle Palace :) Isn't this image lovely? I put a bit of bling on it by using my Sakura Stardust gel pen applying it with a waterbrush.. but I think you cannot see it properly on the photo.. I did a little faux stitching as a little bit extra. But did not want to have too much bits and bobs around because I love the image so much.. thought it is beautiful by it's own :-)

I just noticed that Cute Card Thursday is looking for 'letters and numbers' this week! So I think this fits for their challenge :-)

Ich habe mit diesem wunderschönen und soooo herzigen Digi Stempel 'Eli and Emily the Elephants' von Doodle Palace rumgespielt :) Ist dieses Motiv nicht herzallerliebst? Ich habe ein bisschen Glitzer aufgetragen, indem ich meinen Sakura Stardust Gel Stift mit einem Wassertankpinsel aufgetragen habe.. aber ich denke man kann das nicht so richtig auf dem Foto erkennen.. Ich habe ausserdem noch ein bisschen 'falsches Nähen' für den Hintergrund benutzt um noch ein kleines "Extra" zu haben. Aber ich wollte nicht allzuviel Schnickschnack drum herum haben weil ich dieses Motiv an sich so schön finde.. dachte es wirkt einfach durch sich selbst :-)

Ich habe außerdem gesehen, das Cute Card Thursday diese Woche nach 'Zahlen und Buchstaben' diese Woche fragen! Also passt diese Karte doch gut auch zu dieser Herausforderung :-)

Birthday card for a child - Pollycraft Monday Challenge

After seeing all the wonderful cards from my lovely blogging friend Pops, I couldn't resist and had to download some digi stamps from Pollycraft today *lol* I think this cuuuuute little dog in front of the birthday presents tower would be the perfect image for a childs birthday card and so this card fits perfectly for this weeks challenge at 'Pollycraft Monday Challenge' ;-)

Nachdem ich immer wieder all die wunderbaren Karten meiner lieben Blog-Freundin Pops gesehen habe, konnte ich jetzt einfach nicht mehr widerstehen und habe heute ein paar Digi Stamps von Pollycraft gekauft *lol* Ich finde doch das dieser süüüüüsse kleine Hund vor diesem riesigen Turm von Geburtstagsgeschenken das perfekte Bild für eine Kinder-Geburtstagskarte ist und somit passt diese Karte auch perfekt für die Challenge bei 'Pollycraft Monday Challenge' ;-)
