Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)
Today I am sharing a card with you that I've created for this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge.
I've used the adorable patterned papers from Bo Bunny's "Snow Day" collection, a stamp from the versatile "Christmas Sampler" stamp set by Paper Smooches and (part of) a label die from Spellbinders Paper Arts.
I've distressed all around the edges of the cardstock and patterned paper, tied a bow, adhered a button and a little bit of bling to the saying. Et voila!

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, die ich für die dieswöchentliche Challenge bei CAS-ual Fridays gestaltet habe. Ich habe hierfür die hübschen Papiere aus der Bo Bunny "Snow Day" Kollektion, einen Stempel aus dem vielseitigen "Christmas Sampler" Set von Paper Smoches, sowie (einen Teil) eine(r) Label-Stanze von Spellbinders Paper Arts verwendet.
Dann hab' ich die Kanten des Papiers und des Cardstocks mit Stempelfarbe distressed, eine Schleife gebunden, einen Knopf befestigt und noch ein wenig *bling* zum Sprüchlein hinzugefügt. Et voila!

So eine wunderschöne Karte. Das Papier ist einfach toll und ich mag es ja total gerne, wenn man den Rand ein bisschen "distresst"( was ist denn bitte das fachlich richtige Wort in Deutsch dazu?)

LOL.. keine Ahnung.. in diesem speziellen Falle könnte man sagen: Die Ränder mit Stempelfarbe wischen ;) Aber eine generelle deutsche Übersetzung für "distress" fällt mir ehrlich gesagt so ad hoc auch nicht ein *g*
DeleteMacht aber glaube ich auch nix.. wir Scrapper und Kartenmacher wissen ja eh, was damit gemeint ist ;-)))

Sieht richtig klasse aus, das Papier ist wunderschön und die Schleife mit Knöpfchen passt perfekt!
Weil ich's grad lese, also mit dem Distressen. Hm, ich würde mal sagen, damit ist eim Endeffekt "altern" gemeint - man verwendet den Begriff ja z.B. auch dafür, wenn man den Rand mit einer Feile oder einem "Distresser" bearbeitet zum Aufrauhen.
Ich glaub, das wär eine gute Übersetzung dafür :-))
