CAS-ual Fridays - a Color Challenge

Hi everyone and happy Friday :)

TGIF and the weekend is just around the corner! Friday is always an exciting day - not only because of the weekend starting soon, but also because of a new CAS-ual Fridays challenge is posted ;-)

This week (next two weeks) our challenge is a color challenge!

Zum Glück ist Freitag und das Wochenende steht quasi vor der Tür! Freitag ist doch immer ein toller Tag - nicht nur wegen des bevorstehenden Wochenendes, sondern auch weil es wieder eine neue CAS-ual Fridays Challenge gibt ;-)

Diese Woche (bzw. die nächsten zwei Wochen) gibt es als Herausforderung eine Farbkombi!

I am usually not too good with color challenges, but this one was just along my alley and I **LOVE** this fresh and happy color combo :)

Im Normalfall tue ich mich ein wenig schwer mit Farb-Challenges, aber diese hier ist genau mein Ding und ich **LIEBE** diese frische und fröhliche Farbkombi total :)

I recently got some Hero Arts ink cubes and thought they have the perfect size for a little "DTP" (direct to paper) coloring. I took that ink cube and wiped it three times from left to right on top of a piece of white paper to create a blue "strip" in the background. The not even end on the right side was not an accident but I wanted it to be this way! ;-)

I then die cut the balloon cluster (Whimsy Stamps) twice: Once from white cardstock and a second time from green patterned paper (Bo Bunny). Glued them together a little off center, so the white behind looks like a little shadow (to get a better contrast between the blue background and the green balloons).

Stamped the banner, sentiment and little heart (Lawn Fawn) onto  white paper, cut it out and put it on foam dots (like I did with the balloons, too). I added some orange rhinestones and a little bit of Stickles to the small heart. That's it :)

Ich habe kürzlich ein paar Hero Arts Stempelkissen "Zwerge" (so kleine quadratische Stempelkissen) bekommen und dachte mir das die die perfekte Größe für ein bisschen "DTP" (direct to paper = direkt aufs Papier) seien. Also hab' ich ein blaues Kissen genommen und es dreimal von links nach rechts auf einem Stück weißen Cardstock gewischt um einen blauen "Streifen" im Hintergrund zu erhalten.

Das es rechts etwas ausläuft und nicht gleichmäßig am Rand endet war übrigens beabsichtigt! ;-)

Dann habe ich die Ballons (Whimsy Stamps) zweimal ausgestanzt: Einmal aus weißem Cardstock und einmal aus grünem gemusterten Papier (Bo Bunny). Ich hab' die beiden Stanzteile dann ein wenig versetzt aufeinander geklebt, so das die weißen Ballons ein bisschen drunter hervorlugen (um etwas mehr Kontrast zwischen dem blauen Hintergrund und den grünen Ballons zu erreichen).

Dann habe ich noch das Banner,  den Spruch und das kleine Herz auf weißes Papier gestempelt. Das Banner dann konturengenau ausgeschnitten und noch etwas "Stickles" auf das Herz gegeben. Außerdem habe ich noch orange Glitzersteinchen hier und da befestigt. Alle Teile mit 3D Pads zusammen gesetzt - und fertig ist die Karte :)
