ETA: I did not make the Card of the Week but the Fab 10 again this week :o)
and more great news:
this card has been featured in the DST Insider magazine 08/2010 as one of the 'Hot Hybrid Picks'
Thanks so much :)
2 Sketches 4 You have a great 'prize' this week: the winner will get hold of a DT spot on their team!
*wow*.. how cool is that?! For me a dream would come true if I would make it because all of their DT members are so uber talented and they always show the most amazing work...
..... just dreaming......
but hey... wait... what's the sentiment on the card saying?
If you can DREAM it you can DO it
*lol*
For this card, I cut out the hot-air balloons and the 'dream' cloud and the 'do' square and put them onto pop dots to give it a bit of dimension and just add a little extra to the card
I used Distress inks in Dried Marigold and Scattered Straw to distress all of the edges.
challenges:
2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan's Sketch #57
list of supplies:
design papers and elements:
Sky Is The Limit
by Mari Koegelenberg and Courtney Wilson
other supplies:
kraft cardstock by Dani Peuss
border punches by Fiskars and Martha Stewart
Distress inks in Dried Marigold and Scattered Straw
cream satin ribbon from Poppicrafts
