Hi everyone and happy Wednesday :)
Today I have a new tutorial up and running on the Spellbinders Blog featuring a technique called "Bargello".
I discovered this technique many years ago, when I started stamping! It was shown in my very first book I purchased for my new hobby (rubber stamping) ;-) The book is called "Texture Effects for Rubber Stamping" written by Nancy Curry :-) And even though I have not used it for a long time, I thought it is such a great technique with so many possibilities plus you can use up those paper scraps we all have lying around ;-) So I thought I'd share it with you :)
The sentiment stamp I've used here on this card is from a sentiment stamp set by Raindrop Echo Design called "Everyday Sayings Notables 4". The patterned papers for the Bargello background came with my August kit from Scrapbook-Werkstatt (already *sold out*) and they are from My Mind's Eye "Indie chic", 4heures37 "1658 Eiffel Avenue" and Fancy Pants Design "Time for Spring" collections.
The step by step tutorial with lots of pictures on how to create a Bargello background can be found on the Spellbinders Blog HERE
BTW: I would be delighted if you'd take the time and leave me a comment over at the Spellbinders blog :-) Thanks in advance!
