...{Sylvias Stamping Place}...: Monster Love Card

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)

I am so happy you are visiting today and I want to share this cute "monster love" card with you, that I have made by following the sketch #58 over at CAS(E) this Sketch!.
It is also an entry for the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge (anything goes) and for Addicted to CAS as well (since I used the co-ordinating die for the cute little monster :) ).

Like I already told you yesterday, I am going to try a little new "feature" on my blog: Writing out step-by-step instructions (see box "Instructions" below). And I really hope you find this helpful.

Instructions

make card base (4 1/2") from white cardstock and cover with square piece of red cardstock
cut a square piece from white cardstock (4")
stamp heart and "love" with Memento Love Letter ink in lower right of the white square
draw a whimsical, doodled frame around the panel with Memento marker in Tuxedo Black
doodle draw inside the stamped heart with Memento marker in Tuxedo Black and color with Memento marker in Summer Sky
stamp monster with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with co-ordinating die
color monster with Memento marker in Summer Sky
stamp small heart with Memento Love Letter ink on monster and adhere it onto white panel using foam tape
mount the focal piece to card front using foam tape
embellish with enamel dots

stamps - Paper Smooches: "Falling For You"
coloring medium - Tsukineko Memento markers: "Tuxedo Black", "Summer Sky"
inks - Tsukineko Memento: "Tuxedo Black", "Love Letter"
dies - Paper Smooches: "Falling For You"
tools - Spellbinders die cutting machine
others - American Crafts: red cardstock; white cardstock; My Mind' Eye: enamel dots; dimensional foam tape

Cas perfection ! A gorgeous and humorous playful card and just perfect for our challenge at ATCAS> I'm all in favor of your instructions very easy to follow especially for people who have just started crafting.
