Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)
Today I am sharing a scrapbook page with you.. yes.. it's true *lol*
I know I am very rarely doing LOs but from time to time I am flipping through the old pictures of my sons and find one or some I just have to create a LO with. And so here's my page with a picture of my youngest who is turning 8 in December.. wow... time flies....
BTW: I need a little bit of practice taking pictures of such "huge" projects like a LO....

Heute zeige ich Euch ein Scrapbook Layout..ja.. es ist wirklich wahr *lol*
Ich weiß, ich mache ja wirklich selten LOs, aber von Zeit zu Zeit schaue ich mir die alten Fotos meiner Söhne durch und dann finde ich meist eines oder mehrer, bei denn ich finde, das die einfach verscrappt werden müssen. Also kommt hier mal wieder eine Page mit dem Foto meines Jüngsten, der im Dezember auch schon acht wird.. meine Güte, wie die Zeit verfliegt....
Und nebenbei bemerkt: Ich brauche dringend etwas Übung beim fotografieren solch "großer" Projekte wie LOs....

Spring Is Officially Here :)

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far .. mine is great, because DH and 'Julie' passed the mantrailing examn with huge success *yay*.. I'm soooo proud of them both!!!

Ich hoffe Ihr habt bisher ein geniales Wochenende.... na meins ist schonmal super, weil mein lieber Ehemann heute erneut die Mantrailing Prüfung zusammen mit "Julie" mit großem Erfolg bestanden hat *juhu*.. bin soooooo stolz auf die beiden!!!

But I also have something creative ;-)
Since spring is finally here I had to create a spring card *bg*
Here's my card for the current challenge at Card Positioning Systems. Their simple sketch was just right along my alley and so it was a pleasure to create this card with this sketch.
I used some beautiful papers from We R Memory Keepers 'Peep' collection - 'Easter Parade'
Isn't that cool with all the cut flowers? Love it!
The patterned paper is part of the Scrapbook-Werkstatt April Kit that will be released tomorrow!
Just added a bit  of bling and some tine, then put it on dimensional foam adhesive to create this card.

Aber ich habe auch noch etwas Kreatives ;-)

Da ja endlich der Frühling eingekehrt ist, musste ich natürlich auch eine Frühlings Karte machen *bg*

Hier ist meine Karte für die aktuelle Challenge bei Card Positioning Systems. Der eher einfache Sketch ist genau das was ich gerne mag und so war es eine große Freude die Karte nach dem Sketch zu werkeln.

Ich habe die wunderbaren Papiere von We R Memory Keepers 'Easter Parade' aus der "Peep" Kollektion verwendet! Ist das nicht cool mit den ausgeschnittenen Blumen? Mir gefällt das total!

Das Papierchen ist auch im neuen April Kit der Scrapbook Werkstatt enthalten (ab morgen erhältlich!)

Ich hab' dann eigentlich nur noch ein bisschen "Bling" und Twine hinzugefügt, alles auf 3D Klebeplättchen gesetzt und fertig war die Karte.

Let It Snow

Hi everyone and happy Sunday :-) 

I hope your Sunday is as wonderful as mine is. It's a cold but wonderful sunny day!
So we decided to visit 'Rötteln Castle' (it's a castle ruin, 10km from where we live... here in the 'deep Black Forest') 

Here's one shot I took so you can see a part of the ruin and a tiny bit of the 'Black Forest', too ;-)

Since this is my stamping blog, I have a stamped card to share with you, also :D
Here's a clean and simple winter card using a clear stamp set from Hero Arts.
The photo doesn't show it but I stamped the tiny snowflakes twice: once on the white cardstock
I then wiped over it with blue Distress inks. After that I stamped the snowflakes again in white and put some Stickles in the center of each one. IRL the second white impression does show nicely, but it doesn't in the picture :-/ .. well.. please imagine ;-)

Hi my sweet blogging friends and happy Thursday :-)

Sorry, I have been very quiet this week, but had lots to prepare for the weekend: We will have a search and rescue dog training camp for the weekend :-) We have SAR trainings camps only once a year in summer and it's always very exhausting but also lots of fun!
 I hardly can wait until Saturday is over :-)


If I will not have time to pop in again before the training weekend, I wish you all a wonderful and relaxing weekend, my lovelies!

Hallo zusammen :-)

.. oje..es tut mir leid.. nun habe ich mich schon wieder eine ziemlich lange Zeit nicht mehr hier auf meinem Blog gemeldet ;-(

Aber jetzt möchte ich Euch sehr gerne den Grund für meine längere Abwesenheit vorstellen ;-) Der Name dieses Grundes ist "Julie" und sie ist eine "Segugio Italiano a Pelo Raso" Hündin. Ist sie nicht süss? Also wir hier haben sie alle sofort in unser Herz geschlossen und sind ganz verliebt in sie - auch Mexx liebt sie heiss und innig :-)

Wir haben sie über eine französische Tierschutzorganisation kennen gelernt und adoptiert.
Sie ist drei Jahre alt und wurde als Welpe in einer Plastiktüte am Strand in Italien gefunden. Jemand hat wohl versucht sie zu ertränken, was zum Glück nicht funktioniert hat! Glücklicherweise wurde sie dort von einer deutschen Familie gefunden, die sie mitnahmen und ihr ein Zuhause gaben :-)

Allerdings bekam die Familie kürzlich ein Baby und dieses reagiert scheinbar schwer allergisch auf Hundehaare, so das die Familie sich von Julie trennen musste :-(

Und nun gehört sie zu unserer Familie und wird höchstwahrscheinlich ebenfalls ein Rettungshund -wie Mexx auch- werden. Allerdings wird Julie im Gegensatz zu Mexx, der als Flächen- und Trümmersuchhund ausgebildet wird, eine Ausbildung zum Mantrailer machen :-))


Hi everyone, well... I'm sorry! It's a while ago since I've posted here on my blog ;-(

But now I want to proudly present you the reason for my absence ;-) The reason's name is 'Julie' and she's a 'Segugio Italiano a Pelo Raso'. Isn't she lovely? Well, WE all love her so much (Mexx love her, too! *smile*)

We got her from an animal protection organisation from france. She's 3 years old and has been found as a puppy in a plastic bag at the beach in Italy. Someone tried to drown her :-((( But fortunately there was a German family who found her and took her to Germany and adopt her. But they got a newborn baby recently and the baby is allergic to dogs hair :-( So they had to give her away and now she's part of our family and will probably become a man trailer as well as Mexx will become a rescue dog, too :-))
