Katharina, the owner of Whiff of Joy is having a guest design team call this week and I said to myself: "Have a go!" *grin* So here's my card using the adorable angel Melinda and the colors red and orange (and yellow as my third color)
I colored her wings using Twinklings H2O in heavenly white that gives a nice subtle shimmer, that you unfortunately cannot see in the pictures :o( I also used a bit of Sakura Stardust clear glitter gel pen to highlight portions of the accents on her trousers and on the heart.. just a teeny tiny bit... looks really pretty in real life ;o)
I used the sketch over at Practical Scrappers as inspiration - a great sketch! - thanks :)
