Post It Booklet

I made this Post It booklet for my dear blogging friend Anja aka Bastelkueken. She's such a lovely lady and always send me gorgeous High Hopes stamped images :-) So this was made as a little 'thank you' for her... I used my Bind It All and two coasters covered with design paper to create this little booklet

Sketches! {by tamara} #93 - giggle

Another great sketch from the past, created by the talented Tamara.
I have sort of love-hate relationship with this kind of sketch (without images),
because this definitely brings me out of my comfort zone.. but even if it is always difficult for me to manage and I almost always need a couple of days to come up with an idea *lol* I love creating cards I don't do usually ... for me this is a real challenge - and I love challenges :-)))

Wieder mal ein toller Sketch aus der Vergangenheit, von der überaus talentierten Tamara.
Ich hab' sowas wie eine Hassliebe zu dieser Art von Sketchen (so ohne Motiv) entwickelt,
weil es so ganz und gar nicht meinem normalen Stil entspricht und mir echt schwer fällt... aber auch wenn es immer schwierig für mich ist und ich fast jedes Mal mehrere Tage benötige bis mir eine entsprechende Idee in den Sinn kommt, liebe ich es dennoch Karten zu machen wie ich sie sonst nie mache... für mich ist das wirklich eine Herausforderung - und ich liebe Herausforderungen :-)))

EAC 33 - Iris' Sketch

This week we at EAC have another great sketch for you to try! This week's sketch is made by our lovely Iris :-)

For this card I made a background using Distress inks in Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany and Dried Marigold.
I then stamped the image with Versafine black ink and colored the lights with a yellow glaze pen.
After drying I went over parts of the image with some white beeswax.

Diese Woche haben wir bei EAC nochmal einen wunderbaren Sketch für Euch zum Ausprobieren! Der Sketch dieser Woche kommt von unserer lieben Iris :-)

Für diese Karte habe ich einen Hintergrund aus Distress Stempelfarbe Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany und Dried Marigold gestaltet. Dann habe ich das Motiv mit Versafine in schwarz gestempelt und die Lichter mit einem gelben Glaze Stift coloriert. Nachdem alles gut getrocknet war, habe ich Teile des Bildes mit etwas weissem Bienenwachs überzogen.

Sugar Nellie Guest DT: Cute As A Button // Truly Scrumptious

Cannot stop using my gorjuss Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie. And it is my entry for 'Truly Scrumptious'. They wanted us to follow a sketch AND to use some selfmade buttons on the card. I used cardstock and my smallest die from the QuicKutz Nested Flowers. Then poked two holes in it to create my buttons :-) And I thought the circle sentiment from Inque Boutique ('cute as a button') just fits perfectly ;-)

Ich kann einfach nicht aufhören diese wundervollen Gorjuss Girls von Sugar Nellie zu verbasteln. Und es ist mein Beitrag für 'Truly Scrumptious'. Wir sollten dort einem Sketch folgen UND außerdem ein paar selbst gemachte Knöpfe verwenden. Ich habe meine Knöpfe mit Hilfe von Cardstock und meiner kleinsten Stanzschablone der QuicKutz Nested Flowers gemacht. Dann einfach zwei Löcher reingepiekst..und fertig waren meine Knöpfe :-) Und ich fand das der runde Spruch von Inque Boutique ('cute as a button') einfach perfekt passt ;-)
