Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)

Today I am excited to share my first card as a DT member for Clearly Whimsy Stamps! Clearly Whimsy Stamps is part of the Whimsy Stamps family :)

The making of this card was really simple: Just 1 or 2 spritzes of Imagine Crafts irRESISTible texture spray in New Sprout, paired with some beautiful stamps from the Clearly Whimsy Stamps "Happy Everything" set and the gorgeous "Butterfly Border Die" cut border from SC Designs!   That's it :) 
I hope you forgive me saying this, but I am really pleased with the result :)

Of course you can change the sayings and make a Birthday, Get Well, Congratulations or any other type of card! And using other colors from the large palette of irRESISTible texture sprays also can change the mood of your card. 

BTW: If you don't like the little "air bubbles" in the texture spray (see close up blow), you can easily remove them by just using a needle and prick into these bubbles while they are wet :) Personally, I thought they add some extra texture and interest.. therefore I didn't care about removing them :)

Instructions make  5 1/2" x 4 1/4"  top folded card from 4 1/4" x 11" white cardstock cut 5" x 3 3/4" panel from white cardstock and create a paper pierced frame using a paper piercing tool and a ruler give the panel 1-2 good spritzes with the irRESISTible texture spray in New Sprout and allow to dry thoroughly stamp sentiment from "Happy Everything" set using Memento in Tuxedo Black (or StazOn in JetBlack) die cut butterfly border from white cardstock mount white panel and butterfly border to card front using foam tape

{DT} - Cardabilities Sketch #42

Hi everyone and happy Sunday :)

Today we have a new sketch for you over at cardabilities. 
And as always, it's another great one, designed by Karan Gerber


Here's my card :-)
I guess I've gone a bit crazy with my mini sewing machine on this card *lol* I not only sew around the borders of the kraft card base, but also around the circle sentiment... I just wanted to do a little 'doodle sewing' ... I hope you like it :-)
