Today I want to share another simple vintage-y card that I've created using patterned papers from Prima Marketings "Songbird" collection.

The little bird on a branch was actually cut out from one of the patterned papers and put on some dimensional foam adhesive.

Das Vögelchen auf dem Ast ist aus einem der Papiere ausgeschnitten und dann auf 3D Pads gesetzt.

From Paris With Love

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)
Today I want to share a card with you, where I used some paper piecing on it, to create a bit more interest.
I've stamped the Eiffel Tower from the Whimsy Stamps "Parisian Romance" stamp set directly onto the background. Then I stamped it a second time onto another (light) patterned paper and cut out just the banner pieces to put them on dimensional foam adhesive for a little dimension.
The patterned papers and the paper flowers are from the Teresa Collins "Vintage Finds" collection, available at Scrapbook Werkstatt.
I'd like to enter this card into the "Movement" challenge at Moxie Fab World.

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, bei der ich die Technik des "paper piecing" verwendet habe um die Karte ein wenig interessanter zu gestalten. Ich habe den Eiffelturm aus dem "Parisian Romance" Whimsy Stamps Set direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt. Dann habe ich ihn noch einmal auf ein anderes (helleres) gemustertes Papier gestempelt und davon dann nur die Teile des Bandes ausgeschnitten und sie dann mit 3D Pads auf die Karte gesetzt.

Das Papier und die Papierblumen unten sind aus der Teresa Collins "Vintage Finds" Serie, die es in der Scrapbook Werkstatt gibt.

Mit dieser Karte möchte ich auch an der "Movement" Challenge bei Moxie Fab World teilnehmen.

Today is my last day at work before I will have two weeks off with my kids (two more weeks before back to school!) and I wanted to share another card with you that was published in the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine
I've used the adorable "A Touch Of Elegant Furniture" stamp set and the matching "Vintage Chair" die from Whimsy Stamps as well as the "Notables 1" die - also from Whimsy Stamps.
The patterned papers are from Prima Marketing.

Thinking of You

Hi everyone and Happy Easter :-)
Today I want to share this vintage card with you that I've made 'just because' I love the patterned papers (French Kiss collection by Glitz Design) and of course I love to use my adorable dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts. For this card I used the Labels Twenty-Five, Standard Circles LG, Classic Scalloped Circles LG dies and the Classic Scallop Edgeabilities.
The sentiment, flowers, birds and butterfly are all from a clear stamp set by Inkadinkao (thank you Kathy for letting me know that these stamps are actually from Inkadinkado! :-) )

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Vintage Karte zeigen die ich "einfach so" gemacht habe, weil ich die Papierchen (aus der French Kiss Kollektion von Glitz Design) total gerne mag und natürlich weil ich meine wunderbaren Stanzen von Spellbinders Paper Arts liebe. Life Is Good

Today I want to show you this card I made 'just for fun' and using lots of techniques:

I just had so much fun making this card using this adorable silhouette stamp from Technique Tusday, patterned papers from Authentique and dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts.

This time it's more shabby and vintage rather than clean and simple ;-)
I used some of the adorable Collectables from Kaisercraft again, some paper from Glitz Design,
stamps from Scrapbook Werkstatt, rhinestones from Prima, seam binding, twine, Distress inks and my sewing machine :-) Hope you like it!

Apropos "Stempel von der Scrapbook Werkstatt": Letzten Monat wurde ich gefragt ob ich nicht gerne im Design Team der Scrapbook Werkstatt mitwirken möchte.. und natürlich habe ich mit Freuden "ja" gesagt :-)

Und wenn ich mir die tollen neuen Stempel der Scrapbook Werkstatt so anschaue bin ich wirklich hoch erfreut! Denn die Qualität ist toll, sie sind super vielseitig einsetzbar und es macht einfach Spaß damit zu arbeiten! Herzlichen Dank an Mireia und Tina das ich in Eurem tollen Team dabei sein darf! :-)

and one more birthday card BUT....

.... BUT this time with a little touch of vintage ;-)

Hi everyone and happy Sunday!

I hope you all have a great weekend so far! The weather here in the very Southwest of Germany is ugly.. it's cold and rainy and just *brrr* ... but after all it's perfect for sitting on the crafting table and create cards, isn't it?! ;-)

So.. here's another birthday card. But this time it's not clean, not simple, not even cute .. but with a little touch of vintage :-)

Love this bird collage stamp that Donna Wells of Arty Pants designed. So as soon as I saw this awesome stamp, I knew I had to create a card with this beautiful collage stamp.

The card might look simple without much embellishments but it was a lot of work and thoughts going into this card anyhow ;-)  First I distressed the stamped collage with various Distress inks, then I colored parts of the stamped collage. I stamped the birds twice, colored them again, cut them out trimming closely and put them on foam pads for more dimension and interest.

The frame was created using a digi cutting file from the Silhouette store.
I distressed all cardstock (card base and cut out frame) with some acrylic paints and crayons.
I also highlighted parts of the collage and frame with a white gel pen.
The 'Happy Birthday' was created using a Dymo Label maker.

I like the result but I am not happy with the pictures. They just don't do the card justice.. but well..can't change the weather at the moment and today the daylight lamp wasn't any help, too *sigh*
