Instructions make 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cardbase from 4 1/4" x 11" white cardstock cut 4" x 5 1/4" piece of patterned paper and adhere to cardfront cut 4 1/2" x 1" piece of white cardstock and cut a "v" in the right side to create a banner stamp background sentiment ("Out Loud" set) repeatedly with Memento Angel Pink onto banner until banner is completely covered stamp sentiment and butterflies ("Butterbows" set) with Memento New Sprout embellish butterflies with clear rhinestones adhere banner to cardfront using foam pads

I just read that  Laura Davis, who was the co-owner of 2 Sketches 4 You a while back, now is back with her own sketch challenges called "Poppy Sketches" *woohoo*

I am so excited, because I always loved Lauras sketches and cards!

Instructions make 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base from 4 1/4" x 11" white cardsock, round upper right corner cut 4 1/4" x 1 3/4" piece of patterned paper, distress edges with Memento Angel Pink and an Ink Blusher, adhere to card front cut a length (approx. 50") of white seam binding,  use the Craft Mat to protect your desk, then use a Memento Luxe Dandelion ink pad to directly apply yellow ink to the seam binding from both sides, until completely covered; let dry wrap seam binding around card and tie into double bow stamp octagon ("Stop" stamp set) with Memento Angel Pink onto scrap piece of white cardstock stamp "Stop" with Memento Rose Bud into center of octagon stamp "don't" and "believing" with Memento Dandelion above and below "Stop" into center of octagon cut out octagon, trimming closely and adhere to card front using foam pads embellish with enamel dots

Start Where You Are...

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)

Today I am sharing an encouragement card with you that you could send to a woman but also to a man. I think this card is quiet "neutral" because of the muted colors.

I stamped the wave in three different colors, then overstamped them in black with the sentiment from "Breathe" set. Besides mounting the stamped panel onto the beautiful piece of patterned paper from Carta Bella's "Hello Again" collection - that just was it! Super simple, yet I love the result and I hope you will like it, too :)

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Aufmunterungskarte zeigen, die man sowohl einer Frau als auch einem Mann schicken könnte. Ich finde durch die gedeckten Farben ist sie ziemlich "neutral".

Ich habe die Wellen in drei verschiedenen Farben übereinander gestempelt und danach dann den Spruch noch mit schwarz darüber gestempelt (alle Stempel aus dem "Breathe" Set). Neben dem Aufbringen des gestempelten Rechtecks auf ein wunderhübsches Stück gemusterten Papiers aus der Carta Bella "Hello Again" Serie - war's das auch schon! Wirklich ganz super einfach, aber mir gefällt das Ergebnis und ich hoffe Euch ebenfalls :)

You Can Steer Yourself In Any Direction You Choose

Hi everyone and happy Thursday :)
Today I'm sharing this encouragement card with you where I used some papers and stickers from the adorable new Scrapbook Werkstatt June Kit, which is available next Monday :)
This months theme is a very "nautical" oriented kit. The nautical theme is super hot and trendy right now and I think you can use it for so many things, other than only for "travelling" scrapbook pages.
But also for a lot of cards for many occasions :)
I also used a stamp from the brand new "Guiding Light" stamp set by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps (the sentiment on the banner).

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Karte zeigen, die als Aufmunterung gedacht ist. Ich habe hierfür einige Papiere und auch Kork Sticker aus dem wunderschönen neuen Scrapbook Werkstatt Juni Kit (ab nächsten Montag erhältlich) verwendet!
Der Titel des Kits ist "Seemannsgarn" und so ist der Name auch Programm: Es gibt jede Menge Papiere und Schnickschnack zu dem gerade so super trendigen Thema "Seefahrt" und alles was da so dazu gehört :) Und ich finde, das man die Sachen nicht unbedingt nur für Reise-LOs verwenden kann, sondern auch für viele andere Dinge, wie z.B. auch für Karten zu allen möglichen Anlässen :)
Ich habe hier außerdem auch einen Stempel aus dem brandneuen "Guiding Light" Stempelset von Raindrop Echo Designs für Whimsy Stamps benutzt (den Spruch auf dem unteren Banner).

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)
As I told you last Friday, I have had absolutely no time over the weekend to get creative and I also have a business week ahead, that is jam packed with lots of work to be done.
But anyway.. I managed to create a clean and simple card for this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge, where they challenge us to create a "long and short" card! My card is aprox. 6" x 3"
I was lucky enough to get my new Paper Smooches stamps last week and also have some brand new pretty patterned papers from Scrapbook Werkstatt. So I decided to combine all of them to create a card :)
So here it is: I've stamped the dino onto the patterned paper and did a little bit of additional coloring with Tombow markers for some shading. I cut "her" out trimming closely and put her on pop dots, then added some blue rhinestones.
I also stamped the sentiment, added a paper pierced line and some MME baker's twine and rounded the upper right corner of the card - done!

Wie ich ja schon am Freitag erzählte, hatte ich leider so gar keine Zeit über das Wochenende kreativ zu werden und außerdem hab ich eine super stressige Woche mit sehr viel Arbeit im Büro vor mir!
Trotzdem habe ich es geschafft, eine "clean and simple" Karte für die Challenge bei CAS-ual Fridays zu gestalten. Die Herausforderung ist eine Karte mit einer langen und einer kurzen Seite zu gestalten! Meine Karte ist ungefähr 6x3 Inches groß!
Glücklicherweise habe ich letzte Woche meine neuen Paper Smooches Stempel bekommen und außerdem ein paar brandneue, hübsche Designer Papiere der Scrapbook Werkstatt. So habe ich mich dazu entschlossen all diese hübschen Sächelchen hier zu kombinieren :)
Hier ist also die Karte: Ich habe den Dino auf das gemusterte Papier gestempelt und noch ein bisschen mit Tombow Markern koloriert (Schattierung). Ich habe "sie" dann konturengenau ausgeschnitten und sie auf Pop Dots gesetzt. Dann noch ein paar blaue Glitzersteinchen drauf und gut.
Der Spruch wurde mit schwarz direkt auf die Karte gestempelt, blaues Baker's Twine von MME drum gewickelt und mit Schleife versehen. Dann noch eine Linie mit einem Papier-Piekser gestaltet (gibt es dafür eigentlich auch einen vernünftigen technisch einwandfreien deutschen Ausdruck? ;-) bestimmt.. aber der fiel mir so adhoc gerade nicht ein.. ich hoffe also Ihr wisst dennoch was ich meine *g*)
Die obere rechte Ecke der Karte noch gerundet - und fertig!
